    Make it happen at Hopkins Weinberg 4D GYN-ONC is a 9-bed inpatient unit serving the Kelly Gynecologic Oncology Service (KGOS), the GYN service, and the Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) service. The majority of our patients are GYN-Oncology patients. You would care for women with cancer of the ovary, uterus, cervix, fallopian tubes, vulva, and vagina. You would also care for women admitted for benign GYN diagnoses and on occasion, you would care for women with complications from their fertility treatments. The majority of our patients are admitted to the unit through the PACU, therefore there is a strong focus of post-surgical nursing care. The unit receives admissions through the ED, the clinic, the infusion centers, and from other hospitals. For people undergoing surgery as part of their gender transition plan, Weinberg 4B takes care of the female-to-male population having female pelvic organs removed. You may give chemotherapy and care for patients undergoing radiation therapy. Very often, the staff cares for women with GYN cancer facing the end of their life.     Make it happen at Hopkins Weinberg 4D GYN-ONC is a 9-bed inpatient unit serving the Kelly Gynecologic Oncology Service (KGOS), the GYN service, and the Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) service. The majority of our patients are GYN-Oncology patients. You would care for women with cancer of the ovary, uterus, cervix, fallopian tubes, vulva, and vagina. You would also care for women admitted for benign GYN diagnoses and on occasion, you would care for women with complications from their fertility treatments. The majority of our patients are admitted to the unit through the PACU, therefore there is a strong focus of post-surgical nursing care. The unit receives admissions through the ED, the clinic, the infusion centers, and from other hospitals. For people undergoing surgery as part of their gender transition plan, Weinberg 4B takes care of the female-to-male population having female pelvic organs removed. You may give chemotherapy and care for patients undergoing radiation therapy. Very often, the staff cares for women with GYN cancer facing the end of their life. Qualifications: Master's or Doctorate degree in nursing from an accredited NNP program, or Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited PA program Registered Nurse (RN) license and Nurse Practitioner (NP) certification, or PA Maryland or Compact RN and CRNP, or MD PA Current BLS CPR certification Minimum 3 years of acute care RN NICU experience required; Level III or IV NICU experience preferred. PA: Level III or IV NICU experience or completion of a Neonatal Residency or Fellowship. Salary Range: Minimum 55.81 per hour - Maximum 86.51 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
