About the Role:
The Inpatient RN Case Manager at Sinai Hospital works with the clinical team and medical provider to coordinate and implement safe discharge plans for patients. Their main goals are to improve patient well-being, outcomes, and ensure healthcare services are used efficiently and timely.
This position is scheduled Every Weekend Sat. & Sun. for 12-hour shifts.*
*This position offers a potential of up to $6,000 sign-on bonus*
Key Responsibilities:
Assessment & Planning: Conducts initial and ongoing assessments to determine patient needs for care coordination and discharge, then develops a focused discharge plan, especially for high-risk patients.
Intervention & Collaboration: Works closely with the clinical team and medical providers to put the discharge plan into action.
Continuous Improvement: Stays current with healthcare trends, regulations, and payer requirements related to patient care, discharge planning, and benefits.
Requirements:
Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field

Position Summary
The Emergency Department Team Lead applies the principles of growth and development while utilizing the nursing process to provide high-quality patient care and sound clinical judgment. Unit Highlights
Performs mostly orthopedic surgeries and only general emergency cases
Known as a Center of Excellence in Orthopedics in the Baltimore area
We have Service Line Coordinators for specialties such as hand and wrist, knee and hip, foot and ankle, and so on. They can also be in the numbers.
We have our own Perioperative Educator.
Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs-from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team

Qualifications
ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
At least 2 years of RN Operating Room experience
Associate's degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing
Maryland Board of Nursing (MBON) Registered Nursing license, or Compact State licensure.
