Residential Aide
Status: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Residential Aide Supervisor & Program Director
Position Summary
The Residential Aide supports the daily operations of our inpatient program in a non-clinical capacity, working closely with the Residential Aide Supervisor. This role ensures a safe, supportive, and recovery-focused environment for residents while assisting with day-to-day needs, facility operations, and treatment team coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain a safe and healthy environment that promotes resident well-being.
Assist residents with non-clinical needs, ensuring dignity and respect.
Serve as a non-clinical member of the treatment team, supporting program goals.
Complete assigned milieu duties to maintain a structured and therapeutic environment.
Advocate for residents and connect them to community resources, sober supports, and other needed services.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with agency policies.
Follow and uphold agency policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Provide coverage in other units or departments when staffing needs arise.
Demonstrate flexibility by supporting cross-coverage between programs.
Performs observed medication pass.
Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Key Responsibilities per location
Women's Recovery Center
Supports patients in strengthening positive parenting skills through role modeling and coaching.
Provides relief for mothers including but not limited to providing infant or child support by monitoring and attending to babies while mothers are resting, participating in programing or attending appointments as needed.
Men's Residential
Same as key responsibilities above
Men's Low Intensity Residential
Assist with meal preparation and cooking for residents.
Qualifications
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Familiarity with addiction, recovery, and supportive care principles.
Current CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain before hire).
Valid, unrestricted driver's license and proof of current auto insurance.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to work cooperatively with a diverse team and resident population.
Food Handlers Card (LIR only)
Preferred:
Experience in a residential or group living environment.
Knowledge of recovery-oriented and trauma-informed practices.
Complexity & Working Relationships
This role interacts directly with residents, treatment team members, family members, and other stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and professionalism are essential. All interactions must comply with state and federal confidentiality regulations (including 42 CFR Part 2 and HIPAA).
Physical Demands
Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, reach, and use hands for writing and computer work.
May need to stoop, kneel, crouch, or lift/move up to 20 lbs; occasional heavier lifting may be required.
Must be able to operate a motor vehicle for work-related tasks.
Work Environment
Primarily indoor work within residential and office settings.
May involve supervising outdoor activities, community visits, or participating in agency events, retreats, and training sessions.
Salary: $22.10 - $24.40 / hour depending on experience

Maintain positive collaborative working relationships with co-workers, specialists and community organizations.
Ensure customer service is delivered at each patient visit including escorting each patient to and from the treatment rooms.
Responsible for communicating provider delays and delays in patient flow to the front desk staffs, as well as the patient.
Demonstrate proficiency in the nursing parameters of the Electronic Health Record and Practice Management Application programs.

ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES
Assists in insuring agency compliance with WAC's, RCW's, and other pertinent laws, regulations, and contracts.
Ensure that charts, prescription refill requests, and all information or paperwork the psychiatric prescriber will need is prepared ahead of time and organized in the fashion preferred by the prescriber.

CLINICAL DUTIES
Assists psychiatric staff with client flow and provides quality of care in a timely manner.
Completes routine checks and monitors clients to detect unusual or harmful behavior and reports observations to psychiatric staff.
Prepare the patient for their office visits with the provider including obtaining subjective data and vital signs, ensuring charting is in accordance with Sea Mar's policy.
Works as part of an integrated care team that may include psychiatrists, social workers, behavioral health professionals, chemical dependency professionals and case managers.
Provides mentally impaired or emotionally disturbed clients with routine physical, emotional, psychological, or rehabilitation care under the direction of psychiatric staff.
Encourages client participation in social, educational, recreational and employment activities.
Receives and processes medication refill requests from pharmacies by preparing refill requests for provider review and approval, and ensures prescriptions are faxed to the pharmacy.
Checks EHR to confirm requests are valid. If valid, the aide will send the prescriber a refill request through EHR. If invalid, the aide will communicate with the pharmacy.
Checks medication history in EHR as requested by prescriber.
Collaborates with prescriber to determine next steps.
Fields phone calls from clients regarding questions about side effects and/or status of refills.
Facilitates client enrollment in prescription assistance programs.
Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the clients served.

Job Summary:
The Executive Director, Care Delivery Finance, is accountable for the Care Delivery financial performance and the revenue and expense management of the division. They will oversee these areas\: Decision Support. Includes financial analysis, data reporting, financial modeling, and educational support for data usage. Financial Planning. Includes budget planning and monitoring, rate setting, financial forecasting, capital planning, ROI analysis, support of make/buy decisions, consultation and analysis, expense projection analysis and coordination, budget development training, and strategy analysis. Delivery system profit and loss. Set targets and manage delivery system P&L across Mid-Atlantic Market. Work with senior care delivery leadership to develop and execute plans that respond to current situation and strategic opportunities.
Essential Responsibilities:
Brand and Image\: Act as a compelling advocate on behalf of financial stakeholders to internal audiences-and on behalf of Kaiser Permanente to financial stakeholders. Build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders including consumer governance groups, purchasers, regulators, rating agencies, banks, investment bankers, bond insurers, industry analysts, money managers, and investment consultants. Enhance Kaiser Permanente's brand by representing the organization in the marketplace and with the public.
Financial Stewardship\: Ensure that Kaiser Permanente achieves operating margin and expense trend goals while growing membership. Allocate resources in the division to ensure that financial performance is linked to the organizations business plan. Ensure strategic analysis and deployment of capital resources both within the division and organization. Lead strategies that reduce expense trends, thereby helping to keep health care as affordable as possible to customers. Responsible for $1 billion division budget.

Operational Excellence and Quality\: Accountable for efficient and effective department whose actions support and further Kaiser Permanente's business plan.
