The Senior Associate Counsel provides legal support for hospital information technology operations, including comprehensive legal and strategic guidance on the procurement, deployment, and governance of information technology systems (ISD) and artificial intelligence. This position reports to the Vice President, Senior Associate Counsel with a reporting matrix to the Chief Information Officer.
Responsibilities:
Advise hospital leadership and procurement teams on the legal implications of acquiring new technologies, such as electronic health records (EHR), telemedicine platforms, cybersecurity tools, and medical devices and the implementation of artificial intelligence tools.
Draft, review, and negotiate a broad array of information technology contracts-such as software-as-a-service (SaaS) agreements, cloud hosting terms, data processing addenda, and business associate agreements. Identify and address legal risks in vendor offerings and technology solutions.
Advise hospital leadership on legal considerations surrounding digital transformation initiatives, innovation adoption, and strategic partnerships with technology providers.
Collaborate with hospital IT and security teams to develop policies and protocols for safeguarding patient data and critical systems. Advise on incident response plans, breach notification procedures, and risk mitigation strategies. Stay abreast of emerging threats and evolving best practices.
Provide legal support for hospital-wide policies on technology use, social media, device management, remote work, mobile access to sensitive information, and enterprise risk for information technology. Ensure policies reflect current legal requirements and operational needs.
Support the hospital in managing disputes or litigation related to technology vendors, data breaches, intellectual property claims, and other technology-related matters. Coordinate with litigation counsel as needed.
Education and Training: Provide ongoing education to staff and leadership on legal implications of technology adoption, emerging regulatory requirements, and evolving risks in the health technology landscape.
Identify and assess legal, operational, and compliance risks in IT contract.

This position is responsible for the satisfactory sales and service of Group products offered by AUL. This position contributes to the generation of new product sales and renewals of in-force groups.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Produce within the assigned territory and achieve satisfactory sales results and submissions of OneAmerica/AUL products.
Meet renewal objectives as established by the home office.
Provide acceptable levels of service to producers and clients.
Assist the Regional Vice President in the development and implementation of the RGO marketing plan. Operate within the RGO budget.
Conduct sales and product seminars as necessary.
Attend regularly scheduled manager one on ones and office meetings to help identify patterns, areas for improvement, and find ways to provide better experiences for our brokers and their clients. Remote setups use video technology and meet in person on a regular cadence.
Manage assigned territory to achieve net quote activity levels that meet selling objectives.
Use Group Market Share, MiEdge, and Salesforce data effectively to expand market presence and increase sales production.
Develop a plan to achieve case activity targets that aligns to our core strategy.

Role overview:
Family Services Coordinators are responsible for providing support and assistance to both the donor families and the hospital staff to maximize the opportunities for organ and tissue donation and transplantation. This includes guiding the family through the initial steps, ensuring their needs are met, introducing the opportunity for donation, and offering support throughout the entire process.
FSC's will frequently go on-site to assigned hospitals to assess and evaluate the status of potential donors. Regional travel is required. Considerable "on-call" responsibility required for onsite visits for potential donor situations.

An understanding of the grief process and comfort with talking about death and end of life options

4. Obtain authorization for donation from family members for suitable candidates by providing education and resources.
5. Conduct Donor Risk Assessment Interviews (DRAIs) with family members after obtaining authorization for donation.
Chart all collected information according to established procedures and protocols
After recovery procedures are complete, place follow up calls to families to inform them about the organs that were recovered and to solicit feedback on their donation experience. Document all communication in iTransplant.
6. Collaborate with members of the hospital development team to ensure positive relationships with our hospital partners
Understand the Hospital performance data with sufficient confidence to articulate and share donation measures with hospital partner stakeholders.
7. Contribute to the development and improvement of department policies, processes, and procedures.

This position provides general nursing care to patients and families along the health illness continuum in diverse health care settings while collaborating with the health care team. He/She is accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
We take a wide range of patients from Medical complications, surgical procedures, trauma complications, and provide intermediate level of care. Patients we care for can range from bowel obstructions, hypertension, infections, wound care, diverticulitis, bowel surgeries, amputations, to our trauma population which can include fractures, traumatic wounds, Brain injuries, and more!
Responsibilities And Duties:
Assessment/Diagnosis - Performs initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessment as applicable to the population and or individual (30%).
Outcomes Identification/Planning - Based on nursing diagnoses and collaborative problems, documents planned nursing interventions to achieve outcomes appropriate to patient needs (30%).
Implementation/Evaluation - Evaluates and documents response to nursing interventions and achievement of outcomes at appropriately determined intervals; as part of a multidisciplinary team, revises plan of care based on evaluative data (20%).
Leadership - Actively participates in process improvement activities to achieve targeted measures of clinical quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance (10%).
Operations (10%).

Major Role Description:
Consistent with the mission, vision and values of Lifeline of Ohio, the Tissue Technician coordinates clinical aspects of tissue recovery in collaboration with the referral center and other partner services functions. This position evaluates the suitability of patient referrals to be donors and follows all regulatory standards.
**This is a full-time, non-exempt, benefits eligible role. The call hours are DAY SHIFT (7:00a-7:00p). Schedule consists of 3 or 4 shifts per week (depending on staff rotation). Schedule flexibility is needed; shift length can vary based on donor activity.
Tissue Recovery & Coordination Responsibilities:
Tissue Recovery:
1. Recovers tissue to maximize availability for transplant and/or research
Prepares operating room for recovery process
Operates closely with Tissue Coordinator to perform physical exam and thoroughly document all findings
Inspects donor ID band for positive identification of donor
Arranges instrumentation for the recovery process
Assures aseptic technique is used during the recovery process (sterile and aseptic)
2. Packages tissue to effectively transport to shipping facility for processing
Prepares processor specific boxes needed for shipment
Packs all tissue and materials needed for shipment
Insures proper materials are present for shipping
3. Collects donor information to assure compliance with all federal and/or state governing agencies and industry guidelines
Initials chart for authorization
Confirms identification of donor and testing materials
Verifies tissue shipment information needed for electronic charting system
Verifies tissue, blood and culture for labeling
Tissue Coordination:
Verify authorization for accepted tissue cases
Review relevant medical records
Arrange OR time with recovery facility
Contact Tissue Technicians
Verify paperwork with team
Confirm Processor acceptance
Help/supervise packing supplies
Make phone calls to appropriate staff at hospitals/processors
Help set up OR for recovery
Assist team in OR where necessary
Concurrently chart in donation database as recovery occurs
Verify correct graft are recovered and packaged according to processor standards
Set up shipping of recovered tissue
4. Other duties as assigned
