LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is looking for an individual to make a difference in their community, while working in a laboratory setting, by joining our team as a Cord Blood Processor in Gainesville, FL. This position is responsible for tasks related to the safe handling, documentation and manufacturing of cord blood products and training. This position is also responsible for carrying out cord blood policies and procedures for filing, organizing and maintaining donor records and conducting routine communication activities with collection facilities, regional and laboratory staff as well as with cord blood registries. This is a full-time position working four (4) 10-hour shifts per week, including one weekend day. Oversees the processing of all transactions associated with the purchasing of supplies, services, equipment, and office products required to support the organization. Performs tasks related to the manufacturing and distribution (as needed) duties for the management of whole blood and blood components, in compliance with OneBlood standard operating procedures. LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is looking for an individual to join our team as a Facilities Equipment Manager in Gainesville, FL. This position is responsible for lifecycle management of fixed equipment and critical equipment deployed in our centers. Manager will participate in selecting, maintaining, and tracking the overall performance of equipment through its lifecycle.
