LifeSpring Health Systems history
LifeSpring Health Systems company history timeline
LifeSpring is a 501(c)(3), not-for-profit Community Mental Health Center which began as a small outpatient clinic for children in the city of Jeffersonville, Indiana in 1964.
LifeSpring is proud to be your first choice for care since 1964.
In 2015, LifeSpring was awarded Federally Qualified Health Center status and opened their first FQHC site in Jeffersonville at the Integrated Treatment Center.
In 2018, LifeSpring merged with Southern Hills Counseling Center, Inc., the community mental health center to their west, adding Crawford, Dubois, Orange, Perry, and Spencer counties to their service area.
In 2021, school-based FQHC clinics were added at New Albany High School in New Albany and Bradie Shrum Elementary School in Salem.
