Provide for the growth and profit of Lift Power, Inc. by contacting existing and potential customers to promote new sales of material handling equipment and systems. Develop sales for specified products within the assigned territory. Handle customer concerns and complaints. Retain the ability to work on multiple primary duties at any given time.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct territorial market research to identify potential industries, accounts, or individuals for sales development
Establish and maintain a complete database for all current accounts and prospects
Enter pertinent information into CRM
Initiate direct contact with material handling equipment, dock and door, and systems users
Respond to all inquiries from users and suppliers
Follow up leads, conduct interviews, and submit reports in a timely manner
Perform product demonstrations, assist customers with product application surveys and changeover needs, and manage all custom programs installed for customers
Participate in all sales or product training sessions and company meetings
Present a professional image in personal appearance and dress
Communicate regularly with inside sales representatives and management
Produce periodic budgets, plans of action, summaries, and other necessary reports
Enhance vendor relations by supporting programs and working with their representatives
Organize proposal data for review with sales support staff
Schedule communications with suppliers in advance to ensure they meet your presentation due date
Present and document all significant sales proposals in person
Inform each potential customer about the total depth of services provided by the company
Follow-up on proposals
Document any changes or revisions initiated by the customer
Upon acceptance, process orders and inform the customer of project status from installation to completion, start-up and final payment
Maintain accurate opportunity records
Inform sales management of the status of each open project or recent sales proposal through active maintenance of CRM
Maintain a high degree of communication about customer proposals with the sales support staff
Prepare equipment operational descriptions if required for specific projects
Conduct all business relationships in accordance with Lift Power's policies and procedures
