Job Description
Light of Life Rescue Mission has been serving those experiencing homelessness and other personal challenges for over 70 years. Our ministry in the Northside of Pittsburgh provides a broad continuum of care including food, shelter, and life recovery programming.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Warehouse Supervisor, Off the Floor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the furniture bank's warehouse. This includes managing inventory, coordinating furniture donations, overseeing staff and volunteers, and ensuring that the warehouse operations align with the organization's mission to provide furniture to individuals and families in need. The position reports to Light of Life's Senior Manager of Gift-in-Kind and is accountable to achieve mutually determined goals.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide variety of furniture items.
Implement efficient warehouse storage practices to maximize space and preserve the quality of items.
Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory control systems to ensure accurate records and timely replenishment.
Coordinate with the logistics team to schedule pickups and deliveries of furniture items.
Manage the warehouse team, including staff and volunteers, providing training and ensuring a safe working environment.
Liaise with other departments, such as client services, to ensure clients' furniture needs are met promptly and efficiently.
Develop and enforce SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for warehouse operations.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Manage budgets and compile reports on warehouse operations, inventory levels, and staff performance.
Foster a collaborative and motivating atmosphere within the warehouse.

We currently seek a full-time Case Manager (Level 2) for the Women & Children's Longterm Program. This person will walk closely alongside clients in guiding them through a four-phase recovery program that combines clinical and spiritual elements. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide case management and advocacy for clients, working as a liaison to coordinate wraparound services, while making referrals for housing, healthcare, and other resources for families.
Develop individualized treatment plans addressing substance use and co-occurring disorders and teach families about addiction, recovery, trauma, and effective support strategies. Act as a liaison between medical and social services providers as needed.

Network with related service providers to access appropriate services for clients.

This person would serve on a team responsible for maintaining, servicing and repairing all buildings, equipment and grounds associated with Light of Life properties. These service and repair projects will include, but are not limited to, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC (boilers included). The Maintenance Technician will need to be available to respond to emergency calls during and after hours. This position is multifaceted where no two days look alike. Job Description
Since 1952, Light of Life Rescue Mission has been a safe refuge for homeless and hurting people in the Pittsburgh area.
The organization is currently seeking a Development Officer to play a critical role in advancing its mission by building and managing relationships with donors capable of making major gifts ($5,000-$10,000+). This position focuses on identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding a portfolio of donors and prospects, with the goal of securing increased support for the Mission's programs and priorities.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage a portfolio of 125-200 major gift donors and prospects.
Cultivate strong, mission-centered relationships through personalized engagement, visits, calls, and written communications.
Conduct discovery to identify and qualify new prospects for the major gift pipeline.
Collaborate with Development leadership to design customized donor strategies and proposals.
Make 10-15 meaningful donor contacts per month and participate in at least 25-35 solicitations annually.
Partner with program staff to connect donors to impact through stories, tours, and mission experiences.
Ensure timely stewardship through thank-you calls, reports, and donor recognition opportunities.
Maintain accurate records of donor interactions and progress in CRM system.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree in a related field preferred.
Proven track record with 2-4 years of experience successfully building relationships, soliciting, and generating revenue in a nonprofit or sales setting.
QUALIFICATIONS
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders including high net-worth individuals.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate the mission and impact of the organization.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
Knowledge of fundraising databases and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Confident with face-to-face solicitations and goal-driven performance.
Commitment to the mission and values of Light of Life.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL FACTORS
The position may require occasional evening and weekend work to accommodate donor meetings and events.
Travel may be required to meet with donors and attend fundraising events.
This role requires being in the office at least four days per week. Up to 20% of the time working remotely is permissible.

Since 1952, Light of Life Rescue Mission has been a safe refuge for homeless and hurting people in the Pittsburgh area. The ministry offers services from multiple buildings on the Northside of Pittsburgh. The organization currently seeks a full-time Maintenance Technician.
This person would serve on a team responsible for maintaining, servicing and repairing all buildings, equipment and grounds associated with Light of Life properties. These service and repair projects will include, but are not limited to, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC (boilers included). The Maintenance Technician will need to be available to respond to emergency calls during and after hours. This position is multifaceted where no two days look alike. Must be willing to be flexible and provide staff and clients with a positive experience.
