Job Description
Light of Life Rescue Mission has been serving those experiencing homelessness and other personal challenges for over 70 years. Our ministry in the Northside of Pittsburgh provides a broad continuum of care including food, shelter, and life recovery programming.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Warehouse Supervisor, Off the Floor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the furniture bank's warehouse. This includes managing inventory, coordinating furniture donations, overseeing staff and volunteers, and ensuring that the warehouse operations align with the organization's mission to provide furniture to individuals and families in need. The position reports to Light of Life's Senior Manager of Gift-in-Kind and is accountable to achieve mutually determined goals.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide variety of furniture items.
Implement efficient warehouse storage practices to maximize space and preserve the quality of items.
Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory control systems to ensure accurate records and timely replenishment.
Coordinate with the logistics team to schedule pickups and deliveries of furniture items.
Manage the warehouse team, including staff and volunteers, providing training and ensuring a safe working environment.
Liaise with other departments, such as client services, to ensure clients' furniture needs are met promptly and efficiently.
Develop and enforce SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for warehouse operations.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Manage budgets and compile reports on warehouse operations, inventory levels, and staff performance.
Foster a collaborative and motivating atmosphere within the warehouse.

Job Responsibilities
Establishes service plans and manages cases for the transient homeless in the Day Center. Addresses guests' immediate needs and helps in their longer-term planning.
Works with and training volunteers for service in Outreach.
Works with a team that includes other organizations and Light of Life staff to address general homeless issues and build relationships with those who live in the street.
Creates and sustains partnerships with other social service agencies.
Gathers and records data for qualitative and quantitative analysis for both the County's homeless management system and Light of Life's in-house data management system.
Provides input into all Outreach issues.

Job Description
Since 1952, Light of Life Rescue Mission has been a safe refuge for homeless and hurting people in the Pittsburgh area. The ministry offers services from multiple buildings on the Northside of Pittsburgh. The organization currently seeks a full-time Maintenance Technician.
This person would serve on a team responsible for maintaining, servicing and repairing all buildings, equipment and grounds associated with Light of Life properties. These service and repair projects will include, but are not limited to, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC (boilers included). The Maintenance Technician will need to be available to respond to emergency calls during and after hours. This position is multifaceted where no two days look alike. Must be willing to be flexible and provide staff and clients with a positive experience.

Position Summary
The Data & Analytics Specialist serves as a central resource for the organization's business intelligence and analytics efforts, maintaining enterprise data integrity and enabling data-informed decision-making across departments. This role designs and maintains reporting infrastructure, collaborates across internal and external teams, and supports strategic initiatives with actionable insights. Through advanced tools and peer collaboration, the Specialist builds the organization's capacity for continuous improvement, outcome measurement, and cross-functional data literacy.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Spearhead the development and maintenance of comprehensive business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI, integrating data from MissionTracker (MySQL-based SaaS) and additional organizational systems.
Author, optimize, and execute complex SQL queries to extract, filter, and aggregate data for high-impact analysis and reporting.
Design and maintain tabular data models in Power BI, including development of calculated columns and DAX measures to support nuanced performance metrics.
Establish and manage data transformation processes through Power Query and M Code, ensuring clean, structured datasets ready for reporting.
Create visually compelling and interactive dashboards that translate complex data into understandable insights for a variety of stakeholders.
Administer Power BI Service, including workspace management, asset deployment, and access controls to ensure security and usability.
Build and manage data connections and gateway integrations to support real-time reporting and collaborative access via platforms such as SharePoint.
Develop automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline data refreshes, report scheduling, and distribution processes.
Conduct data quality audits and implement ongoing governance efforts to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of organizational data.
Collaborate with internal departments - including Administration, Operations, and Development - to provide dashboards, reports, training, and consulting support tailored to each team's data needs.
Provide data and reporting support to:
Security (e.g., incident tracking, access data),
Leadership (KPI dashboards, strategy support),
Training & HR (staff evaluation, onboarding data),
Kitchen & Food Services (meal counts, inventory analysis),
Donation Center & Free Store (in-kind donation metrics),
Marketing & Grants (donor impact visuals, program outcomes).
Support Grants and Development with metrics and visuals for donor communication, grant applications, and impact reporting.
Collaborate with MissionTracker Pro Data Views Cohort peers via Slack, email, and virtual meetings to share best practices, troubleshoot, and exchange templates/code.
Fulfill reporting obligations and requests from County partners, ensuring compliance with external requirements.
Regularly engage in peer knowledge-sharing with internal data colleagues to enhance tools and reporting strategies.
Support planning and supervision of data interns from local universities, providing technical guidance and project oversight.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
Minimum of three years' experience managing databases and performing data analysis in a professional setting.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and dashboard development.
Strong proficiency in SQL, with experience writing and optimizing queries for MySQL or comparable relational databases.
Experience with Power Automate and integration of data systems for workflow automation.
Excellent computer and database knowledge, including ETL processes, query optimization, and data visualization best practices.
Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Microsoft Access a plus.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to translate data for diverse audiences.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive furniture trucks to make pick-ups and deliveries.
Load and unload trucks at a furniture bank location on the North Side.
Produce and maintain accurate documentation, including work orders and furniture vouchers.
Execute pick lists and other applicable documents to fill order.
Assist on dock or throughout warehouse when applicable.
Assemble all furniture when inside customer home before leaving.
Safely operate all warehouse and moving equipment.
Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly facility and accurate inventory.
Mentor others, including junior staff, volunteers, and interns throughout the year.
