As a Surgical Technologist, you'll assist in surgical procedures by preparing the operating room, arranging, and passing instruments to surgeons, and ensuring a sterile environment under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. The Surgical Technician First Assistant (SFA) will support the continuity of care for Perioperative patients. The scope of practice includes intraoperative surgical first assisting. The SFA will provide intraoperative surgical care under the direct supervision of the surgeon for all ages and/or provide direction to the perioperative team where needed. Performs other duties as assigned. Responsibilities Assists in performance of procedures for the surgical patient in a manner consistent with established policies and procedures.
