We are looking for the next ROCK STAR to join our family at Firehouse Subs Restaurant! Full-time and Part-time positions are available. Shift Leaders must understand the importance of the customer experience and understand that they are the “Face” of Firehouse Sub's. This job contributes to Firehouse Sub's success by assisting the General Manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts. This job requires the ability to deploy team members and delegate tasks to complete daily systems and procedures with 100% integrity. Essential Functions • Responsible for customer product and service standards • Foster an environment of team work • Responsible for delivering an exceptional customer and store experience • Greet and thank every customer with a smile and eye contact • Execute quality store operations • Clean store, small wares, merchandise and physical plant as necessary • Must be able to operate food preparation machinery • Must be able to operate cash register and handle cash transactions while adhering to all cash handling policies. • Ensure knowledge, adherence and enforcement of all Firehouse Subs Policies and Procedures. • Ensures the profitability of the business by operation shifts within established guidelines and requirements for food cost, labor, controllable, utilities and sales growth. • Providing leadership to the restaurant team to consistently meet standards of superior guest service, quality and cleanliness while embracing the Firehouse Subs “culture” and mission and vision statements. • Assists the GM in coordinating and implementing current operations game plans and company initiatives in a profitable and timely manner. • Able to work on their feet for up to 10 hours at a time. Essential Functions • Excellent menu and product knowledge • Accountable for the accuracy of the guest's order • Able to communicate effectively with guests and handle questions and concerns in a professional manner • Thank the guest sincerely for their business • Maintains an organized, stocked, and sanitary workspace • Responsible for customer product and service standards • Foster an environment of team work • Greet and thank every customer with a smile and eye contact • Execute quality store operations • Clean store, small wares, merchandise and physical plant as necessary • Must be able to operate food preparation machinery • Adhere to all food, safety and security guidelines • Maintains a safe work environment, adhering to all established food and safety guidelines • Participates in all Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation fundraising initiatives • Able to lift up to 50 lbs Requirements • Minimum Age 16 years old • Attendance and punctuality • Computer skills including some Microsoft software and register skills • Ability to stand, bend, reach and scoop through-out assigned shift • Ability to be mobile in walk-in refrigerator and freezer with temperatures ranging from 40° F to -10° F • Must be able to operate cash register and handle cash transactions while adhering to all cash handling policies Prior experience cashier, retail, food and beverage servers, quick service, line cook, prep cook, restaurant crew member, restaurant team member or other part time BOH restaurant jobs highly desirable.
