Familiarity with and ability to read electrical and mechanical Drawings.
Familiarity with low voltage controls and motor controls; familiarity with DDC controls (e.g., Alterton and Carrier Comfortworks),

Notifying supervisor of any abnormal pressures and temperatures before adjusting.

Lift and manipulate equipment parts weighing up to 25 lbs.
Stand, walk, and use hands-on tools/equipment for extended periods as required by project demands.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Control Systems, or related technical field preferred.
5+ years of experience as an industrial maintenance technician or similar role; a combination of relevant experience and formal training (robotics, lasers, metal fabrication equipment) will be considered.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and equipment manuals.
Strong background in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar) and knowledge of relay logic.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot PLC ladder logic, including making code modifications and documenting changes.
Familiarity with AutoCAD (or similar CAD software) for creating and updating electrical or mechanical drawings.
Basic understanding of robotic systems and automation integration preferred.
Working knowledge of industrial communication protocols (EtherNet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, etc.) is a plus.
Soft Skills
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities in both mechanical and electrical domains.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work across departments.
Strong time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
Detail-oriented approach to documentation, compliance, and process improvement.
Additional Requirements
Basic computer literacy for report writing and data analysis.
Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
Valid driver's license and authorization to work in the United States.
