Research Associate Job in Jupiter, FL
Provides investment research and operational assistance to the investment group working closely with the CIO and other investment group associates Integral in our delivery of investment content and material throughout the company. Aids in the manager due diligence process, in addition to supporting the various group committee functions, including the investment policy committee, the portfolio construction committee, and the manager review committee. Would also be involved in the preparation and maintenance of investment collateral management for marketing purposes.
Essential Job Functions:
Design, maintain and distribute various investment-related collateral, including factsheets, marketing presentations, and manager update notes
Respond to ad-hoc queries from our offices company-wide
Maintain regular dialogue with external managers to affect our ongoing due diligence process
Maintain the data and collateral that is to be posted to Salesforce
Collaborate with other functional areas (operations & compliance) to insure the investment group executes on our internal and external (regulatory) requirements
Heavy quantitative analytical method understanding and output.
Expert use of our current manager evaluation platform Quantum on eVestment
Manage agendas and minutes for a variety of committees.
Some travel to both managers and investment conferences
Utilizes Salesforce for effective communication to the investment team, changes in approved assets, and relevant strategy updates
Required Education, Skills, and Experience:
Microsoft Excel advanced proficiency required. The ideal candidate must be comfortable with techniques for analyzing and manipulating data in Excel. A person with this level of skills can customize the work area using advanced functions (ex. IF, VLOOKUP, LEN, LEFT, RIGHT, MID, DATE, TEXT), chain together various functions to create a complex formula using (ex. SUMPRODU
