This role requires someone who has successfully navigated the complex regulatory landscape of private career colleges, managed enrollment-driven operations, and built sustainable campus cultures focused on student outcomes and career placement. You'll be responsible for launching our Hicksville campus from the ground up, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations specific to proprietary education, and driving the revenue and enrollment metrics that define success in our industry.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree or significant commensurate experience in proprietary education management
* 5+ years of operational leadership experience in for-profit trade schools, career colleges, or proprietary educational institutions
* Proven track record managing enrollment-driven operations and P&L responsibility
* Deep knowledge of regulatory requirements specific to private career schools (Title IV, state licensing, accreditation standards)
* Experience with the unique student demographics and support needs typical of career-focused education
* Understanding of career services, job placement metrics, and employer partnership development
Responsibilities
* Launch and scale the new Hicksville campus with full P&L accountability
* Establish and manage annual budget with focus on enrollment targets and revenue goals
* Build and lead a high-performing team across all campus departments (Admissions, Financial Aid, Career Services, Education, Student Services)
* Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and accreditation requirements specific to proprietary education
* Develop and maintain employer partnerships critical to student job placement success
* Manage student retention initiatives and outcome metrics required for regulatory compliance
* Oversee curriculum delivery and faculty management for hands-on, career-focused programs
* Represent the campus in the local business community and with regulatory bodies
* Establish Advisory Boards comprised of industry employers and maintain active Student Council
* Ensure OSHA compliance and safety protocols for technical training environments
* Lead campus through accreditation processes and regulatory audits
* Drive enrollment growth while maintaining quality and compliance standards

The team member shall also perform rework and repair of existing circuit boards and electronics assemblies.
What will you be doing?
This position will be a key member of the manufacturing team. Duties include:
Fabricating cables and wiring harnesses
Electro-mechanical fabrication of various test and production hardware items
Arrange for the prototype and production fabrication of items, to include specifying components and materials, kitting parts, and tracking inventories
Mix and apply a variety of chemical encapsulation compounds and coatings and apply them to electronics units and electrical housings
Make recommendations to engineers and other technicians regarding the producibility of these items and the best practices to be followed
Participate in the integration, testing, and evaluation of the fabricated items into the final system
Assist in laboratory and field testing required for evaluating the system's performance
Prepares oral and written test reports, design evaluation reports, and review the work products of other technicians
Interpret data and information and explain the meaning of the results to engineers and technicians, indicating behavior characteristics and conclusions based upon data evaluation
