Responsibilities

* Manage accounts receivable functions including payment tracking, collections follow-up, and account reconciliation

Requirements

Opportunity at a Glance
Under general supervision, determine student applicants' admissibility to the University. Evaluate transcripts and award transfer of credit based on standards and guidelines developed by the schools; provide decisions to appropriate administrative offices. Reviews admission requirements, policies and procedures, transfer of credit, and related issues.
Responsibilities
Reviews all applications and administers the admissions decisions process as developed and defined by the individual Schools.
Special admissions cases and requests for exceptions to policies will be reviewed by the Manager of Admissions, and in ambiguous cases, the Faculty Chair/Dean will make the final determination.
Awards transfer of credit based on standards and guidelines developed by the schools; provides decisions to appropriate administrative offices.
Prepares official determination regarding admissions and transfer of credit for review.
Provides unofficial assessment of transfer of credit for prospective students. Reviews admission requirements, policies and procedures, transfer of credit, and related issues.
Responds to inquiries from faculty and internal student service groups.
Supervises the transcription of transfer awards into the student information system once official evaluations are completed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Complies with all policies and standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree.
2+ years Higher Ed experience within an Admission, Academic Advising, or Registrar Office.
Ability to evaluate student transcripts and records.

Job Description
This position manages multiple projects and implementation activities across function as well as other business units, as necessary. Assists in projects typically focused on managing activities associated with new, changed, and discontinued programs, policies, and other strategic business initiatives. Partners with Walden leadership on project prioritization based on various factors including business goals, resource scheduling, marketing and recruitment window, market, and business readiness, etc. Makes recommendations on resulting priority sequences.
Facilitates the movement of projects through a stage-gate process, surfacing issues, risks and recommendations to the leadership team at each of the approval gates.
Initiates, authors and provides thorough and timely communications regarding the planning and status of multiple projects to core team members, appropriate stakeholders and Walden leadership.

Responsibilities of a Social Media Coordinator
* Manage day-to-day Instagram posts for their campus page.
* Work with campus staff, students, and graduates to gather content for postings.
* Manage published content (images, video, and copy) and ensure engagement with comments, likes, and messages.
* Understand basic social media metrics and be able to take action from monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports
* showing social media results.
* Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a "social" way.
* Establish ongoing communication with the Corporate Social Media team.
* Attend campus events on and off campus as needed, including career fairs, graduations, etc.
* Stay on top of social media trends.
Requirements of a Social Media Coordinator
* Associate's degree required; concentration in advertising, marketing, media or communications preferred. Bachelor's degree strongly desired.
* 1+ years of direct social media experience
* Knowledge and understanding of Instagram and its features, including reels, stories, etc.
* Experience in social media tactics that increase brand equity and awareness.
* Experience with content creation tools (i.e. Canva, promo.com, etc.) is a plus.
