An aide would be responsible for assisting the College's Public Safety Office as directed by on duty constables, managers or Public Safety Chief. Nature and Scope A class incumbent typically reports the Public Safety Office supervisor and performs Public Safety duties as directed. A significant aspect of this work involves assisting staff, students and faculty on a regular basis. The work may involve routine tasks such as making students ID's, signing in visitors, and unlocking classroom doors as necessary or directed. Completion of additional routine tasks may be required and ordered by the on-duty supervisor. Principle contacts will be with officers, supervisors, staff, students and campus visitors.
