This role is critical to enabling secure, reliable, and user-friendly communication across our organization, supporting both internal teams and external partners in a regulated insurance environment. What you'll be doing We are seeking a team member with deep SharePoint expertise, strong working knowledge of Microsoft Purview for data lifecycle and compliance management, and hands-on experience implementing governance frameworks that ensure secure, scalable, and well-documented collaboration environments. Key Responsibilities * Engineer, deploy, and manage unified communications solutions using Microsoft Office 365 services including Teams, Exchange Online, CoPilot, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Viva. * Lead implementation and support of Microsoft Teams Phone System, Direct Routing, and integration with legacy telephony platforms. * Monitor and optimize performance, availability, and security of O365 services using tools such as Microsoft 365 Admin Center, PowerShell, and third-party monitoring platforms. * Collaborate with security, compliance, and infrastructure teams to ensure solutions meet regulatory and business requirements. * Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to messaging, conferencing, and collaboration tools. * Develop automation scripts and workflows to streamline provisioning, reporting, and lifecycle management. * Stay current with Microsoft roadmap updates and proactively recommend enhancements aligned with business needs. What we're looking for Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). * 5+ years of experience in Unified Communications or Messaging Engineering roles. * Deep expertise in Microsoft Office 365, especially Teams, Exchange Online, and SharePoint. * Experience with Microsoft Teams Phone System, Direct Routing, and Session Border Controllers (SBCs). * Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation. * Solid understanding of network protocols, QoS, and VoIP troubleshooting. * Experience working in regulated industries such as insurance, finance, or healthcare. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln's total rewards package for employees.
