Essential functions: * Observes operation and verifies dimensions of finished products. * Routinely inspects and removes finished pieces from machine bed. * Makes all necessary quality checks and records those checks as required. * Performs routine and nonroutine maintenance on the mill and related equipment as directed by the Team Lead. * Operates all material handling equipment (forklifts, bridge cranes, and hand trucks) * Performs accurate quantity counts on all incoming and outgoing materials. * Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information with paint stick or stencils with spray paint. * Unloads all material being received from semi-truck trailers using large forklifts and moves material to designated warehouse location. * Stores all incoming material into the warehouse ensuring that all tags, paperwork and data is complete. * Fills all production, shipping orders as required and assembles wooden or cardboard containers or selects preassembled containers and boxing, bundling, crafting, or banding items for various methods of shipments desired. * Compares identifying information and counts, weights, or measures items on outgoing shipments to verify against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records. Qualifications: * High School Diploma or GED, preferred. * Three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
