About the role
As a Representative, Account, you'll be the face of Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials (MCAM) for our customers-supporting Key Account Managers, nurturing existing relationships, and helping secure new business. MCAM supplies OEM parts and assembly services to medical, semiconductor, oil & gas, aerospace, and other high-tech markets, manufacturing critical components from high-performance polymers via CNC machining, injection molding, fabrication, and carbon fiber composites.
What you'll do
Own core sales activities: create quotes, enter orders, and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Estimate customer-provided conceptual engineering parts and support pricing accuracy.
Assist with evaluating and approving design changes, specifications, and drawing releases.
Collaborate cross-functionally through all stages of product development; interface with customers and internal teams to drive outcomes.
Conduct proactive customer follow-up and account maintenance to ensure timely service on existing accounts.
Perform additional sales support duties as assigned.
What you'll bring
Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering preferred-or equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience in sales (sales + product development experience preferred).
Industry exposure in semiconductor, military/defense, aerospace, medical, and/or industrial markets.
Familiarity with CNC machining of plastic and metal parts a plus; knowledge of high-performance plastic polymers preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); strong presentation development skills.
The salary range for this position is $66,500 - $94,500. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Order Handling
Consistently monitor SAP for new Electronic Database Interchange (EDI orders and review, and enter any non-EDI customer orders accurately into SAP, within deadlines, and with an awareness of special customer requirements
Utilize tools including the CSR Dashboard and various reports to maximum order flow (e.g., incomplete order report, orders with shipping past due report, and orders shipped not invoiced report)
Take ownership and monitor orders through the system from order to release to shipment to any follow-up actions
Review and edit orders for correct pricing and promotions, sail schedule adherence on LTL loads, pallet load, correctness, and proper ship locations sourcing
Navigate multiple systems during the order management process
Process all invoice corrections and credit memos as needed
Account Management
Provide customer accounts and internal/external contacts with the best possible customer experience and customer service, often functioning as the customers' central point of contact and liaison to DFA
Facilitate conversations between sales/brokers, transportation, production schedulers/plant employees, customers, and other affected individuals to review, coordinate, and/or resolve change requests, time frame issues, or logistics issues such as shortages, transportation, and product availability
Confer with the sales managers and brokers to resolve any order price discrepancies prior to invoicing
Coordinate the return of unwanted or damaged customer products including obtaining proper authorization for said returns
Clear all supported and resolvable deductions immediately
Provide the customer with proactive communication regarding order status, logistics issues, and action plans to meet expectations for order delivery. Ensure the sales team and other stakeholders are aligned and informed
Assist in researching and identifying root cause analysis around account specific issues
Solicit information regarding forecasted needs from customers as requested
Collaboration
Work closely with plants on production schedule to meet customer demands
Build positive and effective relationships with internal/external contacts (plants, sales, credit, customers); learn about their processes, requirements, etc., in order to provide exceptional account support

**Summary**
Our team, based out of our Salisbury, MD corporate office is looking for an Account Rep to join their team! **Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Administers customer service for assigned customers and achieve agreed company goal of customer service, providing the main point of contact for Sales and Merchandising managers.
+ Handles customers' orders for specified customer, ensuring timely entry of orders, correct pricing, split into truckload quantities, confirm plant assignment or move if advised by supply planning and monitor order through to customer delivery and invoicing.

**Education and Experience Requirements**

Position Summary
The Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist is responsible for managing the full accounts receivable lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on proactive collections, account resolution, and financial accuracy. This role ensures timely customer payments, investigates discrepancies, supports reporting, and protects the financial integrity of TFSI.
This position is well-suited for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, persistent, and professional in customer interactions, with a strong understanding of AR and collections processes.
What You Will Do
Monitor aging reports daily and conduct outreach to past-due customers via phone, email, and written correspondence
Initiate and manage collection activity, including payment plans and formal escalation steps
Generate reminder notices, demand letters, and collection documentation
Research and resolve short-pays, discrepancies, credit memos, and unapplied payments
Document all collection activity and customer communication in the accounting system
Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, and Operations to resolve invoice disputes
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly AR and collections reporting
Support month-end close by reconciling AR balances and summarizing delinquent accounts
Follow internal credit, payment terms, and escalation policies
Support the Accounting team with related administrative and operational tasks
Perform other duties as assigned
What You Will Bring
Strong knowledge of accounts receivable and collections practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to analyze account histories and reconcile balances
High level of organization and follow-through
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
Strong time-management and prioritization skills
Professional judgment and customer-focused problem solving
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
2-3 years of A/R and/or collections experience required (B2B preferred)
Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, etc.) preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook
Work Environment
Office environment with occasional warehouse visits
Warehouse areas may involve varying temperatures and noise levels
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer
Occasional standing and walking within the office
Frequent use of hands for typing and office equipment
Ability to communicate information effectively
Ability to observe details at close range
