Miss Kim Korean Restaurant, a part of Zingerman's Community of Businesses, is looking for line cooks!
Compensation: $21.50-$23.50/hour
We are looking for line cooks with full-time (4-5 shifts per week). Currently we are looking for someone who is available to train in the evening (4pm-11pm shift) with the possibility of moving to daytime shifts (10am-5pm) once training is complete. Candidates will need to be able to work at least two shifts between Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings, and a total of five shifts per week (totally around 35 hours per week). Earnings include a $12.50 per hour starting wage plus $9-$11 per hour in tips, for a total of $21.50-$23.50 per hour in total compensation to begin.
There is a $0.50/hr raise once finishing orientation. Plus full benefits that include health insurance, option for vision and dental, flexible spending account, 401k, community chest short term loans for emergencies, extra learning opportunities, staff scholarships, employee meals, staff discount, massage credits, and on and on! Our pay structure is clearly documented with opportunities for cross training and advancement.

Job Responsibilities
Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat, etc..)
Prepare food using commercial cooking utensils and equipment such as a char broiler, griddle deep fryer, open gas range, convection oven, convection steamer, conventional oven, tilt skillet, meat slicer, buffalo chopper, salad spinner etc.
Prepare, cook and store foods to exacting specification with respects to guest preference and internal quality standards
Ensure great presentation by detailing dishes before they are served
Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
Check quality of ingredients
Monitor stock and place orders/alert culinary leadership when there are shortages
Job Requirements
Proven experience as a cook
Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware
Knowledge of various cooking procedures & methods (
grilling, baking, broiling, poaching, etc.)
Ability to follow all sanitation procedures, Serv Safe certification is a preferred qualification.
Candidates that do not have Serv Safe training will be required to complete Serv Safe training and maintain certification while employed at Cherry Creek Golf Club.
Ability to work in a team

Line Cook/The Dishwasher at Five Iron will support the team leader in managing all aspects of our kitchen. We are looking for someone with at least one year's experience cooking. We are looking for cooks with experience in different styles - from traditional classics to grill sandwiches and homemade soups. The ideal candidate is someone who is hardworking, reliable, organized, creative and passionate about food and hospitality. The ideal candidate will be a team player and able to work unsupervised. This position can be a full-time or part-time seasonal position with flexible scheduling including days, evenings, weekends and some public holidays.
You'll perform routine kitchen tasks such as setting up workstations with ingredients, tools and equipment in order to prepare menu items according to recipes. A great cook will be quick and diligent and willing to improve on the job. You should be able to follow instructions as well as all health and safety rules in the kitchen and do so with speed.
