Responsibilities:
Commitment to controlling inventory and minimalizing food waste by utilizing standardized recipes.

The Prep Cook plays a vital role in supporting meal preparation for residents by ensuring food is prepared safely, accurately, and in accordance with established dietary guidelines. Key Responsibilities
Prepare food items according to standardized recipes and production schedules
Assist with washing, chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients
Follow therapeutic and special diet requirements (e.g., diabetic, low-sodium, texture-modified diets)
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all sanitation and food safety standards
Properly store food and label items according to policy
Assist with meal service as needed

Qualifications
