Job Summary: Our fine dining hearth cook specializes in preparing dishes over an open flame or wood-fired oven, ensuring precision, consistency, and elevated flavor. They work closely with the culinary team to execute a refined menu with seasonal ingredients, maintaining high standards of presentation and timing. This role demands strong multitasking skills, deep knowledge of fire-based cooking techniques, and a commitment to excellence in a fast-paced, high-end environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Follow food safety and handling procedures, such as product rotation, dating and labeling all food items Prepare grill/hearth and prep items in a timely matter Cook all food items according to the specified cook times to ensure they are safe for customer consumption Follow proper knife handling procedures Ensure the quality of the food items and notify the manager if a product does not meet Goode Company standards Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping and storing Wash and disinfect kitchen area including tables, tools, knives and equipment to ensure sanitary conditions are met Assist cooks and kitchen staff to prepare food and provide them with needed items Assist with Rotisserie station as needed Qualifications: Punctual and reliable attendance 2 plus years of experience in the kitchen of a high-volume establishment Must be 18 years of age Effective time management skills Ability to follow instructions and procedures Able to work in with heated equipment Be able to work in a standing and moving position for long periods of time Food Handler Certified Benefits: Medical membership with preventive and diagnostic coverage during the first year (part-time) Access to wellness resources and support services Eligibility for full medical benefits after 12 months of consistent full-time hours.
