The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery (OMB) was founded in 2009 in the lower south end neighborhood of Charlotte, North Carolina. Since the very beginning OMB has prided itself on producing and serving the very highest quality products following the German Purity rules known as Reinheitsgebot!
OMB operates a production facility, restaurant, and 1-acre biergarten that is well known throughout North Carolina for hosting events and festivals throughout the year. OMB products are proudly distributed statewide in North Carolina through an independent wholesaler network. In the Spring of 2024, OMB opened a second location in the heart of Ballantyne neighborhood in south Charlotte that features a two story 14,000 square restaurant and biergarten!
About The Role
Serve as a member of OMB's Culinary Team, frequently interacting with both the Culinary Team and Service Team.
Preparing ingredients for daily prep pars
Organize & measure ingredients accurately
Wash, peel, and chop vegetables, fruits, and herbs
Prepare proteins
Prepare sauces, dressings, and other condiments
Label and date prepared items to ensure freshness and proper rotation
Safely utilize kitchen equipment such as knives, slicers, peelers, food processors, blenders, and mixers
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Ensure that each OMB food item is prepared with the highest quality care, and craftsmanship
Follow all recipes and guidelines set forth by culinary management
Ensure that all stations remain stocked before and during the meal period and that logs and par sheets are maintained
Follow food service guidelines set forth by the health department
Perform additional duties, although not detailed, as requested by the Executive Chef
Assist in catered event execution

The Hilton Charlotte University Place is hiring a Line Cook. Must be able to prep and cook and learn all stations with restaurant and a la carte experience required. Experience with banquets and event execution is preferred, but not required. Extended hours may be required based on business demands for that day.
Responsibilities:
Performs all methods of cooking and portion control in accordance with hotel specifications. ·
Must have working knowledge of all kitchen equipment including but not limited to; ovens, grills, broilers, fryers, steam tables, mixers, knives, slicers, etc.

Food Production:
