Position Overview

Knife Skills: Use various knives and kitchen tools to prepare ingredients safely and efficiently.

What You'll Be Doing:

The Food Truck Cook at Hardywood West Creek is responsible for driving an exemplary reputation for quality food, quick service, and friendly interaction between team members and guests in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Staff will work with direct oversight from the Kitchen Manager to prepare a curated menu consisting of burgers, sandwiches, and shareables, as well as the potential for a range of catered options for special/private events.

Achieve the objectives of Hardywood's hospitality program to delight our customers with an exceptional food, beverage, and service experience.
Consistently maintain high quality products through proper technique and recipe adherence.
Operate and maintain professional grade equipment in a food truck environment with a focus on cleanliness, organization, customer satisfaction, and aesthetic presentation.
Prepare and cook a range of offerings with a highlight on locally sourced ingredients for a menu consisting of burgers, sandwiches, shareables, and a range of catering options.
Host occasional pop-up kitchen events in outdoor beer gardens at Hardywood's Richmond or West Creek breweries in Spring, Summer, and Fall.
