The Kitchen LineCook will be able to assist in preparing a wide variety of foods while working quickly and in an organized manner. The kitchen linecook will also be friendly and eager to work as part of a team and possess previous experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Requirements
Knowledge of safety procedures, including safe temperatures at which ingredients must be kept.
Meet all guidelines from OSHA and San Antonio Metropolitan Health District.

Linecooks must possess basic cooking skills. They must also understand how to use a variety of food service equipment,

Maintain food quality by following recipes, portion control and quantities of preparation to minimize waste, and cost with kitchen supervisors and kitchen staff alongside with the Kitchen Manager.
Carry out the opening and/or closing duties of the restaurant's kitchen.
Restocks all items as needed throughout shift.
Assists with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen stations, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas.
Coordinating daily with the kitchen supervisor for operations necessities.
Accomplishes company goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
Communicating and enforcing sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen alongside kitchen supervisors with the direction of the Kitchen Manager.
Maintain professional restaurant image, including proper uniforms, and appearance standards.
Performs additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by the Kitchen Manager and Kitchen Supervisor at any time.

(These duties may include both marginal and essential tasks depending upon duties that must be assumed, i.e. Chef duties during staff shortages.) MARGINAL DUTIES: 1.
