What We're Looking For
Previous experience as a LineCook, Prep Cook, or similar kitchen role in a high-volume restaurant
Strong understanding of culinary techniques, food safety, and kitchen operations
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and consistency
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift 50 lbs.
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

We are looking for a professional AM LineCook to prepare food to the exact Chef's specifications and to support The Retreat's onsite restaurant. LineCook duties will include assisting the Executive Chef with their daily restaurant & event prep. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.
Responsibilities
Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
Prepare food for service (e.g., chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
Answer, report, and follow the Executive Chef's instructions
Clean up your assigned station and take care of leftover food
Stock inventory appropriately
Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, of high quality, and in a timely fashion
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Requirements
Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook, or prep cook
Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
Familiar with industry's best practices
Culinary school diploma
