Warehouse Assembly Operator The Assembly Operator is responsible for the Assembly of lighting fixtures and fixture components utilizing small hand tools, along with labeling, counting and packaging products according to designated metrics and KPIs. Responsibilities: Hold responsibility for basic to complex assembly of lighting fixtures weighing up to 50 pounds. Proper use of hand tools such as power assisted screwdriver and socket wrench. Wiping down and inspecting product components. Disassembly of returned units as needed. Report defective material or products in questionable condition to Supervisor. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Ensure organized, clean and safe warehouse environment in accordance with requirements and training provided. Verify quantity of components, counting and verification of box amounts. Trouble shoot and inspection of goods and materials. Applying UL and daycode labels to finished goods. Maintain sufficient levels of supplies by ordering through the team Supervisor. Contribute to completion of year-end inventory audit as needed. Cleans parts using wire brush, portable grinder, or chemical bath post brazing. Hydrostatically tests system to required pressure and inspects for leaks. Repairs any leaks that are found during the hydro test process. Spray paints piping to customer required color. Breaks down fully completed skid system and prepares it for shipping using crates and other packing materials. Knowledge of design techniques, principles, tools and instruments involved in the production and use of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
