This position reports to the Value Stream Leader-Machine Assembly and is part of the Machine Assembly
department
located in Coralville Iowa and will be an on-site role
.
This role is anticipated to work a weekday day shift (Monday-Friday, 7:00a-4:00p).
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Sets up and operates automatic or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation.
Follows engineering drawings, work order information, Manufacturing Assembly Procedures, SOPs, and other written and verbal specifications in the manufacturing process.
Assembles mechanical units, fabricated parts/components, and/or electrical/electronic systems to make sub-assemblies, assemblies or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures and miscellaneous equipment.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings
Install, modify, troubleshoot machinery and equipment according to requisition established documentation
Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

Ability to travel when needed
Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 75lb, any other physical requirements

Position Overview:
Loenbro is looking for an initiative-taking individuals willing to work hard and grow in the position located in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will work with the supervision of a skilled craftsman. Most of your responsibilities will revolve around performing manual work such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical and mechanical tasks, and other forms of trade.
Job Duties:
Assist with layout, installation, and assembly of mechanical and structural components
Perform rigging and signalman duties for lifts under supervision
Operate power tools, grinders, drills, impact guns, saws, and torches safely
Support pipe fabrication, alignment, and bolt up activities.
Perform basic cutting, grinding, cleaning, and prep work for welder and fitters
Handle material movement using pallet jacks, dollies, or forklift if certified.
Maintain site housekeeping, barricades, and safety set ups in work areas.
Assist with erection of platforms, scaffold, and supports as needed.
Follow foreman's directions, safety plans, and JHA/AHA procedures daily.
Report unsafe conditions or equipment to supervision immediately.
Essential Requirements:

Essential Functions
