Primary Responsibilities * Originate, structure, negotiate and underwrite loans collateralized by all property types and intended for Balance Sheet and CMBS execution * Prepare, review and negotiate loan application and documentation * Create and present credit memorandums for loan approval * Collaborate with Rating Agencies and Banking Partners to ensure loan structures comply with CMBS securitization standards * Coordinate the loan closing process, including communication with borrowers, lenders, legal counsel, and title companies * Work with bank clients on all levels of relationship and origination * Present investment recommendations to the Credit Committee Qualifications * 10+ years of CMBS experience with a deep understanding of commercial real estate finance and market dynamics. * Understanding of CMBS securitization process, REMIC structures, and rating agency requirements * Experience in structuring complex transactions, negotiating term sheets, intercreditor agreements, and closing documentation * Proficiency in Excel-based modeling, valuation, and scenario analysis for CMBS pools and tranches * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details * Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to work well in a team environment * Commercial real estate balance sheet lending experience a plus * Excellent communication and negotiation abilities * Experience coordinating with numerous investment professionals in a complex, global environment. * Articulates vision clearly, motivates teams, and influences stakeholders in a way that aligns with the Real Estate Debt business strategy. * Experience with commercial loan underwriting and credit analysis * Ability to maintain and grow borrower, advisor, and intermediary networks to source lending opportunities #LI-CM1 Base Salary Range: $180,000-210,000 and additional incentive compensation.
