    Job Description ROLE DEFINITION PE OPERATOR SCOPE & AUTHORITY The scope of work shall include all manufacturing areas of the Piney Flats site REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS reports to the PE Process Supervisor RESPONSIBILITIES Follows written instructions including user guides, work aids, and control plans Sets and maintains proper thickness and continuity of the sheet from the twin-screw extruder. Follows set parameters Performs Calendar roll changes as dictated by production schedule. Completes all production and Quality control paperwork in accordance with established user guides. Moves full containers of product into the warehouse or staging area with motorized pallet jacks or forklifts. Responsible for maintaining 5-S Operators are responsible for maintaining overall quality of the product at all times. Statistical techniques including SPC and Six Sigma Philosophy will be utilized extensively to improve our product and process. Operators will participate in Total Productive Maintenance, (TPM) and will be trained to perform routine maintenance tasks on their equipment as scheduled or the need arises. Follows all safety rules and procedures including the use of half face respirators at various intervals during the charging of the extraction system. Safety EH&S Understand the importance of conformance to the environmental policy procedures and the requirements of the EMS. Understand the environmental impacts associated with their work activities and the environmental benefits of improved personal performance. Understand their role in achieving conformance with the environmental policy, relevant procedures, and the requirements of the EMS, including emergency preparedness and response Understand the potential consequences of deviation from specified operating procedures. Comply with all environmental, safety, and health rules, policies, and programs established by the company to the extent of training received. Immediately, report any accidents and releases to the Supervisor Recognize that adhering to job responsibilities and procedures regarding environmental, health, and safety is a condition of employment.
