Duties and responsibilities
Load, unload, and move material within or near plant yard upon receipt of work order or oral instructions
Drive forklift, tractor trailer and skip loader within the plant yard
Clean/wash work area, machines or equipment throughout the plant
Shovel loose material into hoppers or trash hoppers
Remove trash from plant, locker room, lunchroom, parking lot and surrounding areas
Clean and sanitize cooking processing equipment (cookers, augers, process tanks, tankers, etc...)
Record proof of cleaning and sanitation
Paint equipment, as necessary
Operate process equipment as instructed
Must become knowledgeable of CMPAF (Cattle Material Prohibited in Animal Feed) and APPI (Animal Protein Producers Industry) Material Procedure and documentation
Interact with others in a professional and ethical manner
Follow department and company procedures

Compensation:
DCI is proud to offer comprehensive compensation packages including competitive base pay and discretionary quarterly profit sharing bonuses to all part-time and full-time team members. Base pay is reviewed at a minimum on an annual basis.

Assemble production parts using drill press, rivet press, arbor press, manual mills, and hand tools
Install and swage bearings; bond parts using adhesives or sealants per customer specifications
Operate honing equipment to size holes for bearing installations
Follow detailed work instructions and engineering drawings to ensure product quality
Self-inspect work to identify and mitigate defects
Promote “clean as you go” practices and Foreign Object Debris (FOD) awareness
Use mechanical measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, etc.) to verify build accuracy
Maintain dimensional tolerances using torque wrenches, fixtures, and gauges
Participate in team activities to improve manufacturing producibility
Support AS9100 audits and ensure compliance with ISO9001:2015/AS9100D standards
Train and mentor assemblers and other employees as needed
Maintain professionalism in appearance and conduct
Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while on the production floor
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED is required; Technical Certificate is preferred
1+ years of previous experience in Aerospace or Commercial Manufacturing is required.
Combination of previous experience and education will be considered.
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, shop routers, and visual specifications.
Familiarity with aircraft nomenclature and configuration is preferred.
Understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and product acceptance criteria is preferred.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills are highly preferred.
Must be able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Compensation: $18-$18/hr
Location: Auburn, WA
Available Shifts: Monday - Friday, ALL SHIFTS/DAYS, BASED ON AVAILABILITY/ SHIFTS ARE FIRST COME FIRST SERVE.
Shifts Available:
6:00am-2:30pm
10:30pm-6:30am

Qualifications:

Solid Dose Packagers and Fillers: $18.50-$19.50/hr
Loads and unloads machines, cleans equipment, completes paperwork as required
Manufacturing Packagers: $18.50-$19.50/hr
Operate packaging equipment, label containers and products, and maintain equipment cleanliness
Weighers: $19-$20/hr
Sort and measure ingredients, pour and add them to scales, record weights, label containers, and maintain production logs
Blenders: $20-$21/hr
Sort, pour, and screen ingredients, add them to scales and blenders, label containers, complete production logs, and clean equipment
What we are looking for:
Previous experience in production or manufacturing is a plus
Comfort with, or experience operating, machinery
Strong communication skills

You'll work closely with the production team to deliver outstanding results.
What You'll Do:
As a Shaving Line Operator, you will be responsible for:
Operating bagging and baler machines, shrink wrap machines, forklifts, pallet jacks, and bag sealers.
Conducting quality checks on bags to ensure proper seals and packaging standards.
Assisting in other production areas as needed to ensure smooth operations and meet production targets.
Moving finished pallets with a forklift to the appropriate stacking area.
Using skid steers or front-end loaders to load feed bins efficiently.
Assisting Shift Leads with pellet mill operations and identifying/reporting any material or moisture-related issues.
Performing basic maintenance tasks such as greasing mills, changing/sharpening blades, and troubleshooting minor repairs.
What You'll Bring:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
A high school diploma or equivalent.
2-5 years of manufacturing or production experience preferred.
Forklift operational experience is required.
Familiarity with manufacturing systems is preferred.
The ability to lift and maneuver 40-70 lb bags regularly.
A willingness to operate or learn to operate a chainsaw.
