Summary:
We are looking for individuals with or without prior experience in production assembly. High attention to detail, accuracy, efficiency and a team player are key qualities to be successful in this role.
Responsibilities:
Primarily responsible for laying up panels and liners prior to the work order to load and unload into the press and assembling precut material slices (Balsa, Aluminum, Nomex) into panels or liners.
Will check core accuracy according to work order and that orders are properly signed off on.
Prepare and stage all left over materials to be returned back to warehouse.
Ensures all materials used are within shelf-life requirements.
Makes sure housekeeping is being maintained and all containers are properly labeled.
Qualifications:
Minimum 1-year Manufacturing experience (Assembly/Machine Operating/Warehouse)
Basic PC Computer Skills
Must be able to lift, push & pull a minimum of 50 lbs.
Ability to reach, grab, pull and stand for entirety of shift.
A minimum composite score of 240 on the Wonderlic Basic Math Skill Test is required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Complete assigned task by following written procedures and verbal instructions. Task assignments may be changed often. Tasks include assembly of medical devices, inspection at various steps in the assembly process, labeling and packaging. Some assembly operations may require the use of simple testing or inspection equipment during the process.
• Must be able to meet established labor standards for the operations or processes being worked on. Must be versatile and be able to handle a variety of hand tools.
• Able to read and write English at a 7th grade level in order to understand and follow written manufacturing and inspection procedures.
• Perform daily/weekly cleaning tasks in the controlled manufacturing environment and/or the facility in general.
• May be asked to cross-train in other areas such as QC inspection or Material Control.
• An ability to work closely with all levels of peers and Supervisory/Management staff is essential.
