As a stitching machine operator, you will utilize a variety of industrial single needle, double needle and programmable machines to stitch one of over 100 operations needed to complete the turnout gear shell or liner. As a machine operator, you will also work on snapping, seam seal, automated stitching, labeling, inspection and final packaging. Every operator is responsible for the quality of their work.

Able to lift approximately 30 pounds

Additional Requirements Preferred:

The Shop Tech I works under the direction of the Production Supervisor and is responsible for the interior build-out of the construction of storm shelters and other industrial buildings. Qualifications
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES/KNOWLEDGE:
Ability to learn and understand department work instructions for job responsibilities.
Ability to work safely, quality minded, productive, and efficient manner.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Production manufacturing experience preferred.
