WORK HOURS: The work hours of this position may require flexibility in order to meet production requirements. Some mandatory overtime may be required, and voluntary overtime may be available.
The Production Line Team Member consists of a wide variety of positions: Inspector, Processor, Packer, and Palletizer. The individual may be a trained and Qualified Individual in job functions that support the Food Safety Plan Critical Control Points and Preventive Controls such as product cooker temperature recording, metal detection operator, assisting in equipment cleaning, and label verification.
Responsibilities
INSPECTOR
* Carefully looks at raw materials, processed, and frozen precooked pasta at various processing steps to ensure it meets our standards of quality. Verify our pasta product is not; under cooked / overcooked / miss shaped / thawed.
PROCESSOR
* Shapes, stacks, and rolls cheese filled lasagna rolls or sandwiches as they're conveyed to freezer.
* Mix and blend powder and granular ingredients for dry mixes.
* Mix batches of dough for processing lines.
* Assist with daily utensils, equipment, and line sanitation.
PACKER
* Packers are to ensure the right product is in the right bag and final shipping container.
* Sorts, stacks, orientates product to properly fit in finished case.
* Fills and weighs frozen pasta pieces to appropriate case or tote weight in accordance with customer requirements.
* Ensure all packages are properly coded before packing.
* Assist with daily utensils, equipment, and line sanitation.
PALLETIZER
* Check pallets to ensure they are in good condition for loading product on.
* Verify all codes on boxes as complete, accurate, and legible with the line, shift, lot code and product code.
* Stack boxes on pallet using correct configuration for the product running.
* Obtain powered pallet truck qualification.

JOB TITLE: Small Mold Production Worker
REPORTS TO: Production Supervisor
FLSA: Non-exempt
JOB SUMMARY: Performs all of the tasks in the operation of the production machines and presses at Accumold. Uses the quality systems and instructions that have been established to complete the assigned product.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintains the presses to ensure quality parts.
Monitors hoppers on the machine and keeps them adequately filled.
Observes material levels in dryers.
Following work instructions, checks the parts bins at regular intervals. Inspects product continuously to maintain highest quality parts.
Measures parts and follows SPC procedures as required by work instructions and/or customer requirements.
Promote efficient production practices by performing ongoing tasks such as cutting corner supports, making boxes, maintaining the integrity of raw material, etc.
Communicate production problems with lead people or management as needed.
Other duties as required.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Education/Experience . High school education coursework or GED required. Experience or training in manufacturing using quality systems. Ability to use measuring and inspection equipment to monitor quality.
Computer Skills . Ability to perform basic keyboarding.
Language Skills . Ability to read, comprehend, and utilize instructions and short correspondence with coworkers and supervisors. Ability to effectively present information to other employees, in one-on-one and small group situations
Mathematical Skills . Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to read and understand specification drawings for inspection purposes.

Work Environment . The duties of this job are executed in a climate-controlled environment with few temperature or humidity extremes.
