ACCOUNTABILTY OBJECTIVE: Responsible for operating, troubleshooting and performing minor maintenance of automated equipment to maximize assembly efficiency and yields. Operate, troubleshoot, and make adjustments to assembly equipment as the need arises. Maintain proper inventory levels at the assembly stations. Maintain control charts per written instructions on a daily basis. Perform test stand calibrations per operating procedures; perform and record adjustments on control charts. Perform necessary inspection using basic gaging equipment according to quality control instructions. Monitor performance of the assembly line operations using statistical process control methods, identifying and eliminating factors causing non-conformance in the operation. Perform final inspection and package product for shipment per written procedures. 15. Perform secondary machining operations according to written procedures. Maintain clean work area and perform general plant cleanup as required. Perform other related responsibilities as may be assigned or required. WORKING CONDITIONS: General Production environment. Requires standing the majority of the time. Requires fine finger manipulation and handling. The greatest hazard is noise pollution, everyone is required to wear hearing protection and safety glasses upon entering the floor.
