Responsibilities
Notify immediate supervisor about any hotel rooms that need to be placed out of order for maintenance concerns
Responsible for cleaning hotel rooms, public spaces and back of house daily
Ensure all bedding, including duvet covers, are changed between each guest
Continually maintain inventory of linens, cleaning supplies and guest amenities to ensure adequate supplies in accordance with established par levels and timeframes
Maintain the storage rooms with at least one (1) par clean at all times
Report and correct deficiencies noted in hotel rooms or public areas to the appropriate individuals
Ensure your immediate supervisor knows where you are located in the hotel at all times
Assist in the timely completion of all projects including mattress rotation, window washing, deep cleanings, etc.
Maintain constant communication between all departments
Notify immediate supervisor of stock shortages and/or malfunctioning equipment
Possess knowledge of all hotel services and amenities
Maintain a high level of cleanliness and safety in the work area
Adhere to safety and sanitation regulations as instructed by OSHA

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
Supply Chain & Transportation Management/Order Fulfillment:
Ensure successful completion of dealer orders from order placement to order fulfillment, monitor and regular reporting for on time, accuracy and order fulfillment speed.
Plan, manage, and optimize the transportation of eBikes, batteries, and components and final destinations and ensuring the on time delivery.
Support in the Selection, negotiation, and help manage freight forwarders, 3PLs, and carriers for ocean, air, and ground transport. -
Develop strategies to minimize transit time, costs, and environmental impact.
Import/Export & Compliance:
Oversee import/export documentation and customs compliance across North America- including US, CAN, MX and South America.

SUMMARY
The Events Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of conferences, webinars, meetings, and organizational events that support the mission and programs of the National Institute of Building Sciences (NIBS). This role provides operational and logistical support for external and internal events, including council meetings and webinars, ensuring a high-quality experience for attendees, speakers, volunteers, and partners.
The Events Manager works closely with internal teams, council leadership, vendors, and technology partners to deliver well-organized, on-time, and on-budget events across in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, proactive, and comfortable supporting multiple events simultaneously in a fast-paced, growing organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Conferences, Webinars, and Events
Coordinate the planning and execution of NIBS conferences, summits, workshops, webinars, council meetings, and other organizational events.
Develop and manage detailed event timelines, schedules, and logistics plans to ensure seamless execution.
Support site identification, venue selection, contract coordination, and on-site logistics for in-person, virtual, and hybrid events.
Serve as the primary logistical point of contact for event vendors, venues, webinar platforms, contractors, and service providers.
Coordinate with internal staff and council leaders to ensure program materials, speaker needs, technology requirements, registrations, and communications are properly aligned.
Assist with speaker, moderator, and panelist coordination, including invitations, schedules, technical run-throughs, and live event support.
Manage registration processes and attendee communications for events and webinars.
