(U) Systems Engineer with experience interfacing wideband digitizing receivers and software defined radio systems to processing software running on standard general-purpose hardware. Familiarity with the following are highly desirable: VITA-49, low-level drivers software, RHEL, multi-Gigabit Ethernet over copper and fiber optics, RF sources, amplifiers, filters, dividers, etc. (U) Successful candidate will evaluate new hardware from multiple vendors and work with the software team to integrate new hardware, optimize performance with current hardware, and troubleshoot problems with receiver/digitizer hardware.
