Cabmate was initially developed in 1980 when truck driver Bill Nibbelink was searching for a more comfortable ride.
Link Manufacturing was soon on its way with this first product and opened its first factory in 1984.
In 1997, Link introduced self-steering lift axles and entered this emerging market segment.
In 2002, Link expanded its product categories to include Chassis Suspensions through the introduction of UltraRide, a line of light and medium duty drive axle suspensions for commercial vehicles.
Following a recent contract, we’re currently developing a product configuration for complete tactical trailers that will be attached to 300 Canadian Army MSVS vehicles by 2018.
