Full-time Description The Ability Center, a Center for Independent Living (CIL), is on a mission to build the most disability-friendly community in the nation. The Assistance Dogs Program uses science-driven training techniques that empower dogs to actively engage in the learning process and achieve high-quality outcomes. Trainers work collaboratively as part of a team to meet Assistance Dogs International standards. Our service dogs undergo a comprehensive, two-year training process to prepare for roles as service dogs, skilled companion dogs, facility dogs, and agility dogs.
