As strategic thought leaders, the Financial Operations (FinOps) team enables HubSpot's business objectives by proactively managing financial and operational risk and coordinating with our technical teams to deliver fast, easy, and unified business processes, systems, and go-to-market motions that unlock scalable, sustainable growth.
As a Lead Technical Program Manager within the FinOps team, you will operate autonomously to represent all of Finance (e.g. Accounting, Tax, Procurement, Quote-to-Cash, FP&A, and/or Risk Management) in large, complex, high-impact technical projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Pricing Strategy, Legal, Marketing, and Sales departments to translate strategic visions into solutions that are viable, scalable, and effectively reduce risk to Hubspot. Build and sustain a deep understanding of HubSpot's products, business model, financial systems architecture, and financial operations, along with the organizational culture, to effectively navigate the company and influence strategic decisions.
Act as a critical translator between Product and Finance stakeholders. Convey technical solutions and nuances as non-technical business and financial concepts, and educate technical stakeholders on key financial concepts (e.g., SOX controls, ASC606 implications).
Help HubSpot “grow better” by assessing the financial impacts of critical system issues and advising product teams on solutions that reduce risk and improve the customer experience.
We're looking for people that have:
5+ years of relevant experience across one or more of the following: financial systems implementations, risk and controls assessment, and/or technical program management in a SaaS or usage-based billing environment.
Working knowledge of financial statements, accounting concepts (specifically ASC 606), and SOX requirements; Must possess enough business acumen to independently flag potential financial and compliance risks, and to effectively partner with and leverage subject matter experts (SMEs) within Finance for detailed guidance.
Strong systems thinking and the ability to quickly understand complex data flows and system architectures.
Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle with experience assessing risk and advising technical teams on potential mitigation paths
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross functionally and influence/inspire change across seniority levels
A continuous improvement mindset, with experience identifying and implementing process and system enhancements.
A bonus (but not required) if you have:
3+ years of public accounting experience (Big 4 a plus)
CPA, CISA /CIA, and/or PMP certification
Familiarity with systems used at HubSpot (NetSuite, Aptitude, Xactly, Avalara, Adyen, and Looker)
Experience working with HubSpot or other CRM tools

Our mission at HubSpot is to help millions of organizations grow better. When it comes to growing our organization, we believe the future of hiring is Human-Led and AI-Accelerated - using automation, intelligence, and data to eliminate low-value work, surface better insights, and enable recruiters to focus on what humans do best: judgment, connection, and decision-making.
As Senior Director of Talent Acquisition Operations & Programs, you will be central to bringing that vision to life by embedding AI and automation into how Talent Acquisition operates at scale. This is a highly strategic role with enterprise-level accountability responsible for transforming Talent Acquisition Operations from a reactive support function into a product-driven platform that delivers predictable, scalable outcomes across hiring, mobility, and early talent.
Reporting to the VP of Talent Acquisition & Mobility and leading a global team, you'll partner closely with senior stakeholders across People, Finance, Legal, and Technology to ensure our hiring, mobility, and early-career strategy is built to last-and built to scale. This role is ideal for a leader who wants to shape the future of Talent Acquisition - combining human judgment with AI and automation to build systems that scale with integrity, speed, and impact.
What You'll Do
Champion a Human-Led, AI-Accelerated approach to Talent Acquisition by identifying, piloting, and scaling automation and AI capabilities that increase recruiter productivity, strengthen interviewer effectiveness, improve decision quality, and reduce manual, reactive work.
Design systems and principles that reduce escalation, increase autonomy, and allow Talent Acquisition to scale without relying on heroics or brute force.
Lead a multi-pillar organization spanning Core TA Operations, TA Coordination, Talent Mobility & Immigration Programs, and Emerging Talent Programs.
Manage and develop experienced senior leaders, creating clarity, accountability, and durable structures across complex, highly visible domains.
Build operating models and leadership structures that intentionally separate strategy and system design from day-to-day execution, ensuring decisions are made at the right level across the organization.
Establish Talent Acquisition Operations as a product-minded center of excellence, with clear ownership, roadmaps, and ROI discipline across tools, processes, and programs.
Partner with People Analytics to define performance drivers, operational levers, and leading indicators across hiring, mobility, and early talent.
Oversee the TA technology ecosystem with strong governance, ensuring every tool has a clear owner, roadmap, and value review cadence.
Exercise sound judgment in regulated and high-risk domains, balancing speed, experience, quality, and compliance at enterprise scale.
What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications

Lead Security Analyst, Cloud & Endpoint Incident Response
Hubspot 4.7
Boston, MA job
1150868
About the role
The Lead Security Analyst is a senior, hands-on role within Security Operations focused on cloud-centric incident response with a primary emphasis on AWS, while also leading complex investigations across endpoint, identity, and SaaS environments. This role is for an experienced investigator who operates confidently in high-impact incidents, owns response end-to-end, and improves how security incidents are detected, investigated, and contained at scale. This is not simply an alert-triage role; it is a senior investigative and technical leadership position.
What you'll do Threat awareness & rapid assessment
Track emerging threats (active exploitation, 0-days, vendor advisories, high-risk CVEs) and quickly assess relevance to our AWS environment and endpoints.
Triage external and internal inputs (customer-reported issues, bug bounty reports, security research, escalations) and drive them through validation, investigation, and mitigation when risk is confirmed.
Translate threat intelligence into practical actions: containment guidance, detection updates, and prioritized remediation.
Incident response & investigation
Lead and execute high-severity security incidents across AWS, endpoints, identity, and SaaS environments.
Drive incidents from initial signal through scoping, containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident review.
Reconstruct attacker activity by correlating AWS and endpoint evidence to determine initial access, persistence, privilege escalation, lateral movement, and impact.
Produce clear incident documentation (timelines, findings, evidence, and actionable recommendations) for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
AWS incident response
Investigate AWS incidents including IAM abuse, credential compromise, control-plane attacks, persistence mechanisms, and lateral movement.
Use AWS telemetry to scope and confirm activity, including CloudTrail, CloudWatch Logs, VPC Flow Logs, IAM, and GuardDuty.
Lead investigations involving common AWS compromise patterns
Execute containment actions across cloud surfaces, including credential/session revocation, policy/role changes, resource quarantine, and access tightening, balancing speed with service impact.
Identify visibility and telemetry gaps and work with engineering teams to close them (logging coverage, retention, alerting, access model for incident response).
Detection, automation & readiness
Improve detection coverage across AWS and endpoint environments by validating detections against real-world attack scenarios and incident learnings.
Partner with detection engineering to test and deploy new detections, tune noisy detections, and strengthen investigation context.
Build and maintain investigation and response automation using SOAR tools and scripting.
Develop and evolve AWS and endpoint incident response playbooks and ensure they're usable under pressure.
Engineering partnership & remediation ownership
Partner with Engineering, SRE, and IT to implement mitigations, including infrastructure configuration changes and application-level fixes when needed.
Track corrective actions to completion and ensure incident learnings translate into durable prevention (not just documentation).
Required experience
Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including code structure, build systems, dependencies, and package ecosystems-enabling effective partnership with Engineering teams.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows, enabling collaboration with Infrastructure and DevOps teams.
Solid knowledge of cloud architecture, especially Amazon Web Services (AWS) services used in modern cloud-native deployments.
Hands-on experience responding to AWS security incidents, including investigation and containment actions.
Familiarity with SaaS architectures, identity systems, and integration patterns for effective collaboration with Cloud Security teams.
Proven experience leading complex security incidents across cloud and endpoint environments.
Strong understanding of identity and access concepts (IAM roles, federation, OAuth, privilege escalation patterns).
Experience using a SIEM for investigations and detection development (Splunk preferred).
Comfortable scripting or automating in Python to accelerate investigations and response workflows.
Strong Linux investigation skills; solid working knowledge of mac OS and Windows.
Preferred experience
Experience operating in multi-account AWS environments and building practical IR workflows for scale (centralized logging, access patterns, guardrails).
Familiarity with AWS security services beyond core telemetry (e.g., Security Hub, Detective, Config, Macie).
Familiarity with Kubernetes, containers, serverless infrastructure, or modern distributed systems.
SOAR experience building reliable, auditable automations and response workflows.
What we value
Calm, structured decision-making under pressure
Speed with evidence-based rigor
Ownership and follow-through on remediation
Strong cross-functional collaboration with engineering teams
An automation and continuous-improvement mindset

Senior Solutions Engineer
Hubspot 4.7
Cambridge, MA job
We are looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer to join our NAM Solutions Engineering team.
We're a global team of Solutions Engineers united by a shared mission: to solve for the customer. We push boundaries, learn quickly, and move with purpose-aligning, adapting, and growing together. Ours is a space built on trust and psychological safety, where diverse perspectives spark innovation and everyone has room to contribute, experiment, and thrive. Together, we grow and celebrate what makes each of us-and our customers-unique.
As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you are a trusted technical and business advisor to prospects and customers, owning complex pre-sales engagements and partnering closely with Account Executives as part of the HubSpot sales process to drive successful outcomes. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in customer-facing environments, brings structure to ambiguity, and enjoys solving complex business problems with technology-while elevating the quality of deals, teams, and customer experiences they support.
You will primarily work with Sales, while also collaborating closely with Services Consultants, Solutions Partners, Security, Product, Deal Desk, and regional Sales Leadership.
Life at HubSpot is fast-paced and dynamic, but we respect boundaries and flexibility. We trust our people to do their best work while maintaining balance.
In This Role, You Will
Act as a strategic partner to Account Executives within the HubSpot sales process to drive complex, multi-phase sales cycles involving stakeholders from Sales, Solutions Partners, Security, Customer Success, and occasionally Product and Executive Sponsorship.
Reinforce and model strong sales processes and best practices by partnering with Account Executives to accelerate deal progression, proactively address risk, and drive consistent, high-quality outcomes.
Navigate ambiguous, multi-stakeholder problem spaces by creating clarity, structure, and momentum for both customers and internal teams.
Operate as the technical owner of assigned deals, coordinating and pulling in additional technical resources as needed to drive successful outcomes.
Lead technical pre-sales conversations, including integration design, data migration strategy, solution feasibility, and technical validation.
Conduct consultative discovery to deeply understand customer business challenges, processes, and desired outcomes, demonstrating strong situational awareness and sensitivity to customer needs.
Translate discovery insights into clear, compelling, value-oriented solution narratives that demonstrate HubSpot's differentiated capabilities and address customer goals and objections.
Design and deliver tailored demos, workshops, and proofs of value that align HubSpot capabilities to customer-specific use cases and business outcomes.
Proactively manage and prioritize a pipeline of opportunities, partnering with Sales to move deals from discovery through close while anticipating risks and surfacing tradeoffs early.
Serve as the voice of the prospect by providing structured feedback to Product and internal teams to inform roadmap consideration, positioning, and go-to-market execution.
Coach sales teams on HubSpot functionality and positioning, enabling strong, value-based conversations and more effective deal strategy.
Collaborate with Solutions Engineers across regions on local, regional, and global initiatives that improve execution quality, consistency, and customer impact.
Mentor more junior SEs and contribute to team excellence through coaching and knowledge sharing-improving quality and consistency across the deals you support.
What Success Looks Like
You consistently bring structure and clarity to complex, ambiguous customer situations.
You are trusted by Account Executives and customers to guide critical technical and solution decisions.
You influence deal strategy and outcomes, not just technical execution.
You raise the bar for quality, preparation, and customer experience across the deals you support.
You continuously refine your craft by seeking feedback, reflecting on outcomes, and improving how you operate across deals and teams.
You absorb and embrace a rapidly evolving environment with a growth mindset
Senior Solutions Engineer Requirements Experience
4+ years of professional experience, with at least 3+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales or solutions engineering role supporting complex B2B SaaS sales cycles, including experience selling platform-based solutions rather than single-product or point solutions.
Experience selling within CRM ecosystems is strongly recommended, and experience with marketing automation and data-centric platforms is a plus.
Proven ability to secure the technical wins through clear alignment of business impact and gaining validation by prospects and customers.
Technical & Domain Skills
Strong understanding of SaaS architectures, integrations, APIs, and data flows.
Hands-on experience designing solutions involving multiple systems and stakeholders.
Comfortable leading technical discovery, demos, and solution design discussions.
Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business value.
Experience leveraging or evaluating AI-driven capabilities to improve workflows, decision-making, automation, or operational efficiency within a SaaS or presales environment.
Ability to apply industry and domain knowledge to contextualize solutions and align HubSpot capabilities with customer-specific challenges.
Soft Skills
Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to different audiences.
Strong sales partnership, consultative mindset and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align and influence Account Executives, Sales Leadership, and cross-functional partners to drive deal strategy and outcomes.
Highly collaborative and comfortable working cross-functionally, including tight alignment with Sales and Sales Leadership to drive strong deal execution.
Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and mentoring others.
Ways of Working
Comfortable operating autonomously in an ambiguous environment, with strong prioritization and time management skills.
Collaborative, growth-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
Demonstrated operational rigor and pipeline discipline, including proactive deal management, strong prioritization, and maintaining clear internal alignment and hygiene across active opportunities.
Culture & Values
Solve for the Customer: we win by delivering real results for our customers with the goal to build trust, momentum, and an enduring company.
Be Bold and Learn Fast: we choose courage over comfort, take ambitious risks, stay curious, embrace feedback, and treat every moment as a chance to learn.
Align, Adapt, and Go: we move fast and move together. We align on what matters, flex as things change, and take action without waiting for perfect.
Deliver with HEART: we make each other better. Our core is humble, empathetic, adaptable, remarkable, and transparent.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Staff Software Engineer, Backend
Hubspot 4.7
Cambridge, MA job
Staff Engineer, Infrastructure Edge
HubSpot is on a mission to help millions of organizations grow better. The Infrastructure Edge team is looking for a Staff Engineer to support a critical part of that mission. Infra Edge is responsible for developing and operating HubSpot's load balancing and CDN infrastructure. Our systems are used by ~200 internal engineering teams and serve billions of requests from over 200,000 customers in more than 100 countries daily. The performance, reliability, scalability and cost-effectiveness of this infrastructure are paramount to HubSpot's continued success and the success of our customers.
As a Staff Engineer you will play a leading role on a team of 3-5 engineers. We are looking, first and foremost, for a skilled, passionate and empathetic engineer who thrives on building large-scale, highly performant distributed systems in a collaborative manner. You will be spending most of your time (~90%) on hands-on technical contributions, but also provide technical leadership to your team. That includes guiding design, development, and operations of systems and system components, as well as technical mentorship and coaching for growth.
Teams in HubSpot are kept small and nimble to maximize ownership and to eliminate scale challenges and communication overhead (e.g., very few meetings that could have been a Slack message!).
For this position, we are looking for:
An experienced Software Engineer with a proven track record of designing and delivering complex, performant, reliable and scalable distributed systems and/or infrastructure in a Cloud environment (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience with CDNs (e.g., Cloudflare, CloudFront) and Load Balancers (e.g., NGINX, Envoy) is a plus.
Proficiency in Java, C#, Go, C++, or Rust, with Java preferred.
A player/coach with excellent communication skills and prior experience mentoring others.
An understanding of how to foster Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging.
The ability to translate business requirements into technical deliverables. Experience in building company internal platforms and collaborating with feature teams is a plus.
Our tech stack is Java but regardless of your background, we hire great engineers who love to learn. If you're a hands-on engineering leader and if this resonates with you, let's talk.

Outbound Business Development Representative (BDR)
Hubspot 4.7
Cambridge, MA job
HubSpot welcomes individuals to join our Sales team as a Business Development Representative (BDR). As part of our commitment to building a hybrid company, BDRs can be flexible with their work location with the choice to either be based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, or remotely in the US.
🚀 Join HubSpot as an Outbound Business Development Representative (BDR)
📍
Remote (US) or Cambridge, MA
We'll be honest - sales isn't easy, and it's not for everyone. But for those who love a challenge, thrive on results, and want to launch a long-term path in sales, it's incredibly rewarding.
If you're looking to “try out” sales or just dip a toe in, this probably isn't the role for you. But, if you're the kind of person who wakes up hungry to compete, thrives on setting and smashing goals, and wants to build a career in tech sales from the ground up - we want to talk to you.
At HubSpot, our BDRs are not only the first point of contact for our prospects-they're also developing the skills and mindset to become our next generation of Account Executives. This is not a placeholder job - it's the first chapter of a high-growth sales career designed for those who want to build skills, embrace feedback, move fast, and grow even faster.
The Role:
As an Outbound BDR, you'll play a key role in HubSpot's growth engine. You'll be the first touchpoint for many of our future customers, sparking conversations through strategic outreach, uncovering pain points, and qualifying leads. You'll partner closely with Account Executives to deliver high-quality meetings that drive pipeline, impact, and revenue. Along the way, you'll sharpen your sales toolkit daily and gain exposure to a world-class sales organization.
What You'll Do:
Own and execute outbound prospecting through high-volume outreach (60-100+ activities/day) via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
Collaborate with Account Executives to target strategic accounts and refine outreach strategy.
Qualify leads based on fit, need, and urgency - and book quality discovery meetings.
Hit (and exceed) KPIs for activity, meetings delivered, and pipeline impact.
Grow fast. Learn fast. Get coached. Apply it. Repeat.
What You
Won't
Do:
Coast. We move fast, we test, we iterate, and we compete.
Wait for someone to tell you what to do. We value self-starters who take ownership.
Treat this as “just a job.” This is a foundational role, setting you up for a successful long term career in sales.
We're Looking For People Who:
✅ Are eager to grow long-term within a sales path-if your focus is split between sales and other paths like customer success, marketing, operations, etc, this role likely won't be the best fit.
✅ Are resilient, coachable, and crave feedback to improve.
✅ Are curious and ask
why
, not just
how
.
✅ Set high standards for themselves - and hit them.
✅ Are technologically fluent, adapting to new technologies and leveraging AI in your day-to-day.
✅ Communicate clearly, write thoughtfully, and can confidently conduct a cold call.
✅ Are energized by a fast-paced environment and a bit of friendly competition.
✅ Either have past sales success
or
have demonstrated excellence in goal-driven roles (think: fundraising, athletics, service industry, etc).
Tools We Use (and You'll Learn):
HubSpot (of course)!
LinkedIn Sales Navigator
AI Powered Tools across all aspects of the role for research & outreach
Slack, Zoom, LeadIQ, Google Suite, Zoominfo, and more
To Apply:
📝 No cover letter required.
📄 Submit your resume.
👉 If you're new to sales, show us your grit: include examples of how you've hit ambitious goals in other roles.
📊 If you've been in sales before, highlight metrics like quota attainment.
Bottom Line:
We're looking for future stars, not just seat-fillers. If you want to grow into an elite sales professional and are ready to work hard, get uncomfortable, and see what you're really capable of - this is your shot.
