The Integrated Risk Management (IRM) Intern will help support the organization's risk management framework by assisting in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across various business functions.
Responsibilities
Work with IRM Manager on tasks as assigned.
Potential tasks include work towards integrating our newly acquired company; documenting priority projects within new corporate governance norms; third party questionnaire reviews and data inputs.
Building powerpoints for executive consumption
Qualifications
Grade Level: undergraduate rising juniors (2028) and seniors (2027)
Preferred Major: Finance, Risk Management or Business Management
Microsoft PPT, Excel, Word; Sharepoint required
AI tools preferred
Resourceful and a team player
Strong verbal and written communication
Proactive, shows initiative, and can work independently
Interest in risk management and insurance
This role will be based in Princeton, New Jersey, with a possible option of working in the Amelia, OH or Hartford, CT offices. The base range for this internship will be $21 - $22 per hour. The hourly estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for candidates hired in this position in Princeton, NJ. About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Account Executive to join our dynamic, growing Insurance team in Whippany, NJ.
Key Responsibilities Include
Serve as strategic point of contact for client
Manage annual book of business and proactively monitor upcoming expirations
Identify the risk management needs of clients and prospects; Develop and recommend appropriate products and services; Work with client to identify unmitigated risks and cross-sell complimentary products and services
Manage a team of 1-5; Responsible for training and advancing the careers of their team
Present custom solutions to clients and prospects in a clear and professional manner; Clearly promote American Global's competitive differentiation in written and verbal presentations
Positively and proactively represents American Global in meetings, seminars, trade shows, networking events, industry associations, organizations, boards and charities, as appropriate.
Prepare, analyze, execute and/or approve critical business documents, including but not limited to:
Client fee agreements
Renewal letter requests
Complete and accurate submissions to underwriters
Coverage quotes
Proposal documents, including executive overview write-up
Book of business production reports
Premium allocations
Unit stat cards
Experience modification analysis
Account receivable (A/R) reports
Loss picks, collateral reviews and negotiations on loss sensitive programs
In-depth data analyses
Cultivate local underwriting relationships to support company visibility and credibility in the construction insurance marketplace. Maintain knowledge of carrier underwriting appetites and contacts and recommend appropriate markets for client programs
Analyze client risk profile and develop marketing strategy with the team and client
Bind insurance coverages, address binding subjectivities, and convert proposals of insurance to summaries of insurance post binding
Supports team in response to requests for proposals (RFP)
Actively lead account management staff in annual stewardship process, pre-renewal process, final renewal delivery, and other significant account management services for assigned client book of business
Develop relationships with centers of influence (Including but not limited to attorney partners, bankers, CPAs)
Identify key individuals within the client's organization and build and maintain effective and sustainable relationships
Effectively delegate tasks and assist team members to balance workloads when needed
Maintain ongoing communication with clients and industry partners to ensure a high-level of customer service.
Maintain insurance license & CE requirements

The Opportunity
The Internal Audit Intern will develop an appreciation of different functional units of the insurance and reinsurance industry (e.g., underwriting, claims, finance, accounting, compliance, systems and technology), benefit from exposure to a variety of senior business leaders engaged in the audit process and gain insight as to what it takes to be an Internal Auditor.Opportunities to participate on audits with experienced senior audit team members will be provided. The day-to-day activities and projects will provide the intern with an opportunity to learn about the internal audit profession and Munich Re organization. They will be able to apply what they learn in the classroom regarding Risk Management/Audit/Accounting/Business Operations and Technology to actual day-to-day operations.
The role is being offered in Hartford, CT; Princeton, NJ; or Amelia, Ohio in a hybrid working environment.
The hired intern is expected to work 40 hours per week during the summer and 10 - 15 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters (remote and/or hybrid).
Responsibilities:
Perform as a member of the audit team under supervision of the Senior Auditor, and provide support in conducting audits, advisories, and internal control projects
Participate in audit planning to gain an understanding of the audited area
Perform audit testing and prepare workpapers to support the testing performed and conclusions reached in accordance with appropriate professional and department standards
Assist in providing audit status update meetings to stakeholders and work with the Senior Auditor to draft the audit report
Assist on special projects during the course of internship

Job Description
We are looking for experienced and talented licensed professionals (LPC, LCADC, Psychologist, LCSW) who would like to work within our HIPAA secure virtual environment. As a contractor, you will be expected to have the appropriate insurance and to provide your own equipment enabling you to provide online counseling in our virtual office setting. You will choose the hours you are available. Our sessions require a two hour block of time and will follow our proprietary requirements.
Qualifications
Licensed in New Jersey to provide mental health and substance abuse assessments. The LPC, LCADC, LCSW and Psychologist all meet the criteria. You must have liability insurance or be eligible to receive it. Clinically, the ability to establish rapport and experience in creating meaningful and effective treatment plans are critical to success in providing this service. Experience within the Criminal Justice field is an advantage.
