Schedule: 32 hours per week with benefits.

Actively recruits on a regular basis for patient needs, as well as community/facility needs and administrative needs.
Meets deadlines for monthly reports, including cost savings reports, renewable requirements and Retention/Recruiting Logs.
Follows company, Medicare and state guidelines in regard to training new volunteers and completing a volunteer files on each volunteer.
Reviews and processes volunteer documentation in a timely manner and in compliance with Medicare, state licensing laws and Company policies
Maintains and meets volunteer hours in compliance with Medicare requirements for reimbursement
Plans and coordinates Hospice Memorial Service using the guidelines in the Memorial Service Manual.
Carries out all duties outlined in the Volunteer Coordinator Manual.
Carries out other duties as assigned by Executive Director and/or Regional Volunteer Program Manager.

Technical Expertise
1. Experience working with electronic medical record software, such as EPIC, is preferred.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required.
3. Experience providing clinical services through telehealth is preferred.
Education and Experience
1. Education: Master's Degree in Social Work or Clinical Mental/Behavioral Health Counseling is required.
2. Certification: Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Independent Marriage and family Therapist (IMFT) required. For SUD positions, LCDC II, LCDC III, or LICDC is preferred.
3. Years of relevant experience: Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in preferred.
4. Supervision endorsement from the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board preferred.
5. Must meet Akron Children's Hospital Medical Staff Credentialing/Privileging criteria.
6. Years of supervisory experience: None.

The position is responsible for registering families, managing, and instructing children, ensuring that the STAR Corner is stocked with supplies, prepared for lessons, kept clean, while upholding all STAR Corner and hospital policies, and providing resources or other support to families. The STAR Corner currently has the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. This is a part-time, hourly position requiring up to 19 hours per week with a schedule established and agreed between the employee and manager. The STAR Corner Teacher reports to the Director, Hospital-Based Programs and supports the Hospital-Based Programs Team. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
