Braven offers competitive base salaries based on the midpoint of the market among not-for-profit organizations of similar size, with opportunities for salary growth over time. This is a remote/in-person role based in Chicago, Illinois.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement cutting-edge machine learning models and algorithms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into products and services.
Optimize and scale machine learning solutions for performance and efficiency.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies.
Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and contribute to engineering best practices.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in machine learning and AI development.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
Experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and statistical methods.
Preferred Skills and Experience
Master's or Ph.D. in Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience with deep learning, reinforcement learning, or natural language processing.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Requirements
Must be willing to work either remotely or on-site in Chicago, IL (hybrid options available).
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time if required.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Salary Range: $150,000 - $220,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
