The primary responsibility of the Bar Apprentice is to provide excellent service to all guests who approach the bar, keeps the bar area cleaned and stocked at all times, and assist the Bartender with various duties.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:



Cleans bar area, including bar tops, sinks, glasses, refrigerators and other bar appliances. Acknowledges, greets and converses with customers who approach the bar. Prepares and pours all types of drinks for customers and cocktail servers upon request. Processes all cash transactions by accepting money and making necessary change accurately, while presenting customer with bar receipt. Converts cash to coin for any customers playing the slot machines in the bar area. Calls a designated slot employee when needed by a guest or bartender.



QUALIFICATIONS:



Work requires 6 months prior Bartender or Bar Apprentice experience. Work requires at least 1-year previous money handling position. Must have knowledge of beverages, glassware, and garnishes. Work requires effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner. Must present a neat and professional appearance. Work requires interactions with customers, public and co-workers. Work requires teamwork with other staff members. Work requires ability to accurately count money and provide change. Work requires schedule flexibility which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.



PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:


Fast paced, high volume environment involving constant public. Requires standing, walking, and lifting a minimum of 15-20lbs repeatedly. Shifts may vary based on business needs. Must be able to tolerate secondary tobacco smoke.

The e-commerce lister/shipper is responsible to research, list, photograph, and provide descriptions of items for online sale. Upon sale, lister must understand the shipping process to secure, package, and ship sold items to purchasing customer.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Exemplifies Goodwill Southeast Georgia’s mission, vision, and values within all aspects of assigned work.
Sorts, evaluates, and identifies items by value to list for online sale.
Lists items accurately with comprehensive and grammatically correct descriptions.
Researches specialty items to ensure proper and creative descriptions maximize their exposure and describes value.
Follows all posting procedures to assign listing numbers and maintain proper placement into storage area to await purchase.
Properly photographs items with a digital camera or cell phone to market and accurately represent the item to potential buyers.
Communicates with customers via email to address questions and resolve issues or concerns regarding listed product using best practices in customer service.
Follows all established policies and procedures related to online sales and standards of operation.
Prepares items for accurate shipment.
Meets or exceeds daily listing and/or shipping goals.
Maintains a clean, organized and safe work environment.
Maintains a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a positive manner with customers, co-workers, and leadership.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
Strong knowledge of jewelry, collectibles, and art. Ability to use online forums to research items to determine appropriate value.
Past e-commerce experience preferred.
High school diploma or GED.
Computer skills, knowledge to navigate through online sales portals, payment systems, shipping systems, and online value sites.
Experience using a digital camera or cell phone camera.
Eye for great picture taking to pictorially describe items.
Creative writing skills and strong attention to detail.
Ability to learn quickly and retain information.
Ability to work in collaborative team environments.

• Must be available to work 8 hour shifts on weekdays.
• Contribute to Collider’s ongoing coverage of television by editing/writing 5 articles a day, including writing original features, lists and additional content related to television.
• Edit and publish articles of all types with careful attention paid to SEO best practices.
• Assisting the freelance management team with ideation, greenlighting pitches, and editing new features and resource lists.
• Managing other writers and assigning out coverage of new and ongoing shows.
• Maintaining an editorial calendar of release dates for premieres and finales
• Coordinating coverage around new and ongoing series, including determining SEO and timing strategy for major premieres
• High-quality spelling and grammar on all work.
• Adherence to the Collider style guide.
• Providing feedback to continually improve our writers’ abilities.
• Participate in weekly meetings with notes and analyses.

Applicants must be highly motivated and possess the following requirements:

• 2 years relevant experience in writing and editing.
• Broad knowledge of TV/Movie history and culture.
• A solid grasp of the English language and the ability to communicate niche ideas to a wide audience.
• Knowledge of AP Style.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices.
• Familiarity with analytics, specifically GA.
