Responsibilities
Program Management: Develop, execute, and continuously improve the corporate compliance program across all business units.

Position Summary
The Atlanta United Communications Assistant will be joining a four-person staff and will be involved in the day-to-day operations of the club's sports communications department, with an emphasis on Atlanta United 2. Typical duties will involve coordinating media interviews, writing official club communications, and providing on-site support for all club matches. This is a part-time position that will have variable working hours to include evening, weekend, and/or holiday hours.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Serve as the day-to-day media relations lead for Atlanta United 2. Including, but not limited to, writing media communications, coordinating team personnel interviews, and liaising with MLS NEXT Pro communications and broadcast personnel. This requires attendance for all ATL UTD 2 home matches; remote support for all away matches.
* Maintain ATL UTD 2 statistical database and prepare package for media distribution
* Oversee communications responsibilities for Atlanta United's Academy as needed and serve as authority on the club's youth development narrative
* Assist First Team staff in both areas of brand communications and sports communications
* Conduct regular media monitoring for all club-related activity
* Provide on-site support at club events for Atlanta United's First Team as needed, including assistance with set-up and operations of press areas on game day
* Establish and maintain a good relationship with local media outlets
Qualifications and Education Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in (or currently studying) Journalism, Public Relations or related field.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with prior PR/communications experience, specifically PR tactics and general strategies.
* Working knowledge of the sport of soccer, MLS, MLS NEXT Pro and U.S. Soccer
Required Skills
* Must be able to handle pressure and take initiative.
* Strong organizational and computer skills required.
* Should be flexible and a team player.
* Must be able to abide by club policy regarding player and coach interaction.
* Bilingual preferred but not required.
