Litigation associate job in Rio Rancho, NM
Job Description
Associate Attorney (Real Estate Transactions, Probate & Estate Planning)
Hybrid/Remote Flexibility Available
)
Firm Type: Boutique, Systems-Driven, Tech-Forward
Are you a talented attorney who loves the law but hates the "chaos" of traditional law firms?
In 2025, we overhauled how we practice law. We stopped chasing clients for money, implemented bi-monthly billing, and built a world-class remote support team of 6 paralegals and assistants. The result? A profitable, streamlined firm where the attorney gets to focus on high-level strategy and client advocacy rather than administrative headaches.
We are looking for an Associate Attorney who is meticulous, tech-savvy, and ready to step into a firm that has the "engine" already running.
Compensation:
$85,000 - $100,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
What You'll Do:
Focus on Strategy: Handle commercial lease drafting/reviews, real estate purchase agreements, estate planning, streamlined procedural litigation, and real estate title & estate resolution.
Lead the Team: Review work product from our highly trained remote paralegals (deeds, estate plans, and quiet title actions).
Leverage Tech: Use AI-driven tools to increase your efficiency and output.
Direct Client Contact: Be the lead advisor for clients during their most critical transitions.
Qualifications:
Who You Are:
Licensed to practice law in New Mexico.
Experienced: Ideally 2-5 years in Real Estate or Probate, but we value competence and character over a specific year count.
Detail-Oriented: You take pride in "bulletproof" drafting. You're the person who catches the typo in the legal description that everyone else missed.
Systems-Minded: You enjoy using technology to work smarter, not harder.
About Company
Why Join Us?
No More "Collections Stress": Our replenishing retainer policy means we are paid upfront. You focus on the work; we've already handled the cash flow.
Administrative Freedom: With a 6-person support staff, you aren't filing your own documents or chasing down phone numbers.
Modern Work-Life: We offer hybrid/remote flexibility. If you live in Las Cruces, Santa Fe, anywhere in New Mexico, or even out of state, and have the skills, we want to talk to you.
Competitive Compensation: $85k-$100k + performance bonuses tied to fee income.
