*Essential Duties & Responsibilities*
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
· Advise client on their legal rights in matters and draw up legal documents about their case
· Analyze probable outcomes of cases using knowledge of legal precedents
· Manage large workload of cases
* Experience in removal work, including asylum and cancellation of removal, family-based immigrant, and non-immigrant matters, including waivers (including I-601A, I-601, I-212), SIJS, U Visas, VAWA, and other humanitarian reliefs
* Representation in custody hearings and merit hearings before the Immigration Courts and BIA.
* Solid experience interpreting and providing advice on immigration, citizenship and on the processes through which people may secure immigrant and non-immigrant visas
* Experience working on IV & NIV matters, specifically AOS, Consular Processing and Waivers
* Perform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motions
* Provide empathy and compassion for our clients, while also empowering them to take control of their own lives
* Persuasive writing and verbal communication skills
