Illustrative Duties:
* Interview applicants over the telephone and in person to provide eligible seniors with legal advice, brief services, and representation as appropriate. Document all client case information and related time spent in case management system accurately and timely. Ensure compliance with Legal Services Corporation (LSC) or other grantor requirements.
* Communicate with clients to learn about their legal needs and concerns, counsel, advise and refer them to appropriate public agencies or other community resources for additional services. Explain legal options and possible outcomes or risks to their attention.

The role involves providing legal advice and guidance to homeowners, contractors, HOAs, and Condo Associations regarding their construction projects, actively litigating cases, handling depositions, attending court hearings, drafting contracts, negotiating on behalf of homeowners with contractors or other lawyers, and all phases of litigation.
Our office is in East Boca Raton. We do work throughout the entire State of Florida. This position can be filled by a Florida-licensed attorney working anywhere and promises to be extremely rewarding.

Responsibilities:
All phases of construction dispute resolution, from pre-litigation through and including trial.
Guiding homeowners, contractors, HOAs, and Condominium Associations through issues common to major renovation projects, including issues relating to payments, timing, and quality of work.
Communicating empathetically with non-institutional clients in need of valuable, real-life guidance with issues of great importance to them.
Resolving the clients' issues as promptly and efficiently as possible.
Negotiating with opposing parties or their attorneys to resolve ongoing construction disputes.
Drafting, revising, and advising on construction contracts to owners, HOAs, Condominium Associations, contractors, and subcontractors.
