Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Paralegal with specialized experience in real estate to join our legal team. The Senior Paralegal is responsible for providing both legal and administrative support at a professional level to ensure smooth operations within the organization's legal and corporate functions. This role includes liaising with counsel, staff, and clients to manage the flow of documents, data, and corporate information. This position is also directly responsible for integrating paralegal and administrative functions with the broader operations and management teams at Walton. The Paralegal position requires necessary teamwork skills to work effectively with management and staff to accomplish the strategic goals of the organization, and as such the position requires discretion in handling confidential, sensitive, and timely information. A successful candidate for this position will be required to work in the office five days a week at our headquarter located at 8800 N. Gainey Center Dr., Suite 345, Scottsdale, AZ 85258, which emphasizes the importance of in-person interactions and collaboration within the team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
· Manage execution and signature process for all legal documents, including reviewing and preparing documents, coordinating the collection of digital and physical signatures, notarizing as required, and ensuring that all finalized documents are scanned, filed and distributed to relevant parties.
· Make the necessary revisions to closing documents, obtain required signatures and notarizations, and ensure that all finalized documents are scanned, filed and delivered back to closing agent.
· Draft, prepare, and proofread legal/transactional documents and correspondence.
· Organize and maintain legal files within the company's electronic filing systems.
· Assist with document control processes, ensuring the accuracy, accessibility, and integrity of legal documents.
· Provide strong corporate governance support with the formation, registration, renewal, and dissolution of corporate entities across various jurisdictions.
· Maintain corporate records, minute books, resolutions, and filings.
· Maintain accurate and current corporate organizational charts, reflecting legal entities and ownership structures. Ensure charts are updated promptly following corporate changes such as formations, mergers, dissolutions, or transfers of ownership.
· Review, process, and approve legal invoices.
· Perform other related legal duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
· Bachelor's Degree in related area and/or equivalent combination of relevant education and professional experience.
· Must be a commissioned Notary of Public in the State of Arizona, in good standing.
· Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience in managing a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong working knowledge of industry standard software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, MS Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Visio, and DocuSign. Comfort and interest in learning and adapting to new applications and technologies as needed.
· Ability to prioritize, multitask, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail while communicating effectively across all levels of the organization.
· Strong understanding of legal documents, including contracts and agreements, with the ability to review, interpret, and manage them appropriately.

The salary range for this position in $95k-$105k USD, depending on individual qualifications.

About the Role:
As a Paralegal, you are the gatekeeper of our clients' experience, and the project manager of their case. You will work closely with the assigned attorney with cases involving complex issues and clients with serious injuries that are not in litigation but have the potential to require litigation and would be certified as Tier 2-3 in Arizona state courts. What You'll Do
Manage own caseload of 50-65 personal injury cases. Cases may involve:

Hire investigators to obtain witness statements, surveillance video, etc.
Draft and send public records requests, subpoenas, Notice of claim to governmental entities.
Investigate liability, causation, damages, and the at fault party's ability to pay.
Determine all layers of available insurance coverage to maximize our client's recovery.
Assist client with resolving property damage claims including arranging reservations for rental vehicles, removal of vehicles from tow yards/storage facilities, loss of use claims, total loss payouts, out of pocket expenses for damaged personal property, diminished value claims, and deductible reimbursement.
Obtain health insurance information and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
Extensive experience as a paralegal, with a proven track record in real estate development, construction law, and architectural/consultant contract management.
In-depth knowledge of litigation support processes, including e-discovery tools, trial preparation, and case management software.
Exceptional organizational skills, with demonstrated expertise in document control and file management for multifaceted legal and development projects.
Strong understanding of real estate transactions, construction disputes, architectural agreements, and consultant contracts, including relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.
Proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and document management systems (e.g., SharePoint).

As the Copyright/Trademark Paralegal, you will provide legal support to the attorneys and work with clients on their copyright and trademark filing and maintenance needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare and file trademark applications;
Review and Manage client trademark dockets;
Prepare and record documents affecting the chain of title for U.S. and International trademarks;
Responsible for various aspects of the trademark process, including application, prosecution, maintenance, Trademark and Trial Appeal Board proceedings and related docketing;
Coordinate and oversee U.S. and foreign trademark filings;
Perform various tasks including copyright registrations, searches and communication with the Copyright office;
