Job Summary
The Paralegal Investigator will provide comprehensive legal support to attorneys in civil litigation matters. This role involves legal research, document preparation, case management, calendaring, trial preparation, and coordination with attorneys and support staff. The paralegal will manage both electronic and paper case files while ensuring accuracy, compliance with legal procedures, and adherence to office policies.
Key Responsibilities

Perform paralegal duties for departments throughout the company. Serve as initial point of contact for all incoming contractual and legal requests and track the progress of such matters to completion. Support the General Counsel in legal, corporate, and compliance matters.

Draft, analyze, review, and propose revisions to vendor, real estate, client, settlement, and other agreements. Communicate with, and consolidate information from, various internal departments relative to the contract review process. Analyze and draft responsive memoranda to inquiries and requests for legal assistance from employees, clients, and outside counsel, conducting research and consulting with General Counsel as necessary.

We are seeking an Intake Paralegal for our Phoenix office.
About the job:
This is a fast-paced, client-focused role within a collaborative team environment. As an Intake Paralegal, you will be the first point of contact for potential new clients, handling calls and in-person interactions with empathy and professionalism. The position involves conducting intake interviews, addressing client concerns, coordinating with paralegals and investigators, and performing related administrative tasks to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
Schedule:
Tuesday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Saturday: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Responsibilities:
Answer and manage incoming calls from potential clients promptly and professionally.
Conduct client intake interviews over the phone and in person with accuracy and compassion.
Address client questions and concerns; escalate matters to paralegals or investigators as needed.
Maintain detailed and organized records in the case management system.
Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive first impression of the firm.
Assist with administrative tasks related to intake and case setup.
Required Qualifications:
Bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
1-3+ years of experience in a law firm environment.
Minimum 1 year as an intake paralegal (personal injury experience strongly preferred).
Proficiency in computer applications and administrative processes.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, and staff both in person and over the phone.

Role Overview
As our Negotiations Paralegal, you'll be pivotal during the post-medical treatment phase of our cases. This role demands a blend of empathy, negotiation skills, and legal expertise to successfully guide clients through their settlements. Your work will directly contribute to our mission of delivering unparalleled client service and achieving exceptional outcomes.
Responsibilities
Lead the negotiation phase post-medical treatment in personal injury cases.
Craft and approve effective demand strategies.
Negotiate settlements, aiming for the best outcome for each client.
Maintain clear communication with clients, adjusters, and legal professionals.
Uphold our culture of excellence in client service.
Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years handling personal injury matters in a law firm or insurance environment. Equivalent combinations of paralegal and bodily injury claims experience are welcome.
At least 2+ years managing pre-litigation negotiations, including drafting demand packages, evaluating damages, and settling bodily injury claims.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for client interaction and negotiation with carriers.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred due to our significant Spanish-speaking client base. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
